So I want to make a custom boss, and have a boss bar appear for it without needing to have a wither involved for it. How would I do it. The /bossbar command used to exist a long time ago, so i cant use that in a function, unfortunately.

I don't think that the /bossbar command has ever existed on bedrock. You can make your entity have a boss bar by adding the "minecraft:boss": {} component.
