Exposed "minecraft:behavior.swim_up_for_breath" AI goal component which allows a mob to try to move to a location where it can breathe air once it is close to running out of its breathable supply. In Vanilla, this is used by the Dolphin. Any custom content built off of the Vanilla dolphin at or above version 1.21.20 will need to manually add this component to enable this AI behavior.

This is in relation to supporting existing cubemap, or panorama, assets in resource packs.

Skin screen is basically a treatment pack that usually updates for everyone else. (same as marketplace etc)
when being a treatment pack, sometimes using a modified json-ui pack might not always work as I literally rewrote the entire vanilla screen.

Well we can also just look at the pattern. If 1.21.10 were to release, it would be in this month. A preview cycle usually lasts one month, so 1.20.20 would release somewhere in August

I don't exactly understand how treatment pack works but it usually downloads in the background and will apply for first seconds after the game is launched.
though i did go back to stable and that treatment pack just eradicated.
it still broken though, can't use my own skin pack exactly. just stuck with 5 skins total and not all.
the default emote(s) is also gone, left me with non-default ones like achievement ones. yay?

What is the logic on forcing a leading / removed in some places and not others. Why not just normalize the commands for us?
I think the logic here is: if a fields accepts only commands and nothing else, then / is not necessary since it's obvious that this is a command. But if it accepts more than commands (e.g. BP ACs and animations, in-game chat) then the slash is necessary to distinguish commands from other potential inputs, like molang, events or chat messages
I copy/paste my commands from the game and switching to queue_command from bridge execute is painful because execute just allowed copy/paste.
queue_command makes me edit every command to remove the /
This would be a great quality of life to allow the / so copy/paste just works again.
3-4 times now I've wasted time diag'ing stuff just to go chekc the logs and find I used a / again.

This is me in my sandbox happily playing, when my dad and granddad come in and try and ruin my fun with their "It does more" argument. When a shovel is perfect. They want to bring a backhoe into my sandbox where it doesnt' fit or belong.

Basically every addon I've worked on in the last 2 years is completely dependent on the new scripting api capabilities and couldn't be done otherwise. It's by far the most versatile part of the game
Scripting is getting removed on 1.20.20, we warned not to use the experimental API.

FYI — My wording here was wrong. Block geometry is still a resource so it's done through a resource pack.
The issue is that vanilla block and item models are not exposed for resource packs. That's why putting these offsets in geometry files instead of item files is unfortunate.

The idea of blocks.json is very similar to what client entities are, and IMO it is superior by having everything in a single file. The only problem is how limited it is, which makes it really unusable in comparison. Having to handle things like textures, materials, geometries etc etc in an individual file is... well... dumb

since items and blocks can once again have the same identifiers (since 1.21.0), ive decided to match all of my item and block identifiers i needed. so on windows everything works, but if i have a world opened on windows, and join this world from xbox, an error saying [Item][error]-Item 'v360:unlit_lantern' has invalid category enum value 6 appears on xbox, and all the items with the same identifiers as blocks dont show up, while on windows everything works perfectly. any solutions for that?

We don't have custom biomes yet. Ones emulated with custom features don't count

No. Custom biomes have been broken since 1.18. Mojang is fully aware of this and working hard to bring back this capability.

it was, I don't really know what the cause of this
this somehow goes the same as the nether in the same world too
the TPS isn't low at all. just 20 stable
the world is about 12mb, what's going on?
So apparently I've lowered my render distance to really at minimum and the world loads faster. then increased my render distance to max made the world loads longer.

I think the Nether is a pretty big problem
I remember loading got faster at one point, but it's taken nearly 15 seconds to load into it recently
same, pretty sure it used to be around 5-10 seconds, i think around 1.19-1.20?

Ancient cities are easy to find, just look at mountains with giant caves

i don't think the mace is considered 'rare' loot, looking at the loot table i believe it's in the 'unique' pool
the way the ominous vault loot works is like this
1-3 rolls of 'common'
80% chance for 1 roll of 'common', otherwise rolls 1 'rare'
75% for 1 roll of 'unique'
the common loot table is stuff like arrows and wind charges, the rare loot table is things like iron/emerald blocks, diamond gear and books, including wind burst, and the unqiue loot table includes the heavy core, music discs, trims, banner patterns etc
so this change simply swamped the second part of the loot table, instead of an 80% common, 20% rare, it's now 80% rare and 20%, which i think is good because before stuff like wind burst was exceedingly hard to get compared even to java

Everything in Minecraft is 16x, hence why every 16x texture will look normal. Items render differently than blocks. Blocks do have a system that adapts to your needs, but items don't
Whether that's a missing feature or a bug that's another topic
