Sounds like a client-side-chunk generation issue perhaps?
If it's a custom-genned world, then that will happen. Otherwise, I've never seen it happen on a regular map
And it can be both server side and client side I believe

But if another person, "Person C" were to then log on after that happened, then they would get the problem for chunk 5

Seems playerDimensionChange is broken, was testing it yesterday morning and it crashes the game, anybody using it be weary when setting blocks to the fromDimension and fromLocation, using a fill replace command just hardcrashes the game.

Anyone getting a bunch of crashes after updating for Android? It crashed several times before I got realms to work and everytime I got the server tab it crashes with a second or two

They have several issues with realms related there, so probably why.

This bug is a strange one. It only happens on the new world edit screen from my tests.
The subpack menu resets the value when you exit or load the world. It used to reset when you just closed that UI, but that one seems to be fixed.
a workaround is to move the priority of the pack so it triggers oreui to auto save the world settings which includes the subpacks options
There’s another bug where if a behaviour pack depends on a resource pack that will apply to global resources in the resource packs section but the bug is that it’s still available in the available packs tab meaning you can apply it twice

yeah this doesn't surprise me. subpacks are a barely used feature, so there isn't a lot of internal testing around it.

Everytime ecko does a review of an addon he uses a re-uploaded version (without permission) on mcbedrock.com that he claims not to own anymore so he can profit off ad revenue. He keeps the original download link so people don't make a fuss. The main problem is people end up downloading outdated versions of your addon because the mcbedrock.com doesn't get updated with the new link...

Wow, I just got an actual blue screen of death while alt-tabbing into Minecraft Bedrock. I've never had one on this computer before, and I've played much more intensive games than Minecraft.
I noticed the game is lagging heavily when alt+tabbing and fullscreened, must be that.
A pretty fundamental flaw with OreUI is that the screens get completely reloaded every time the screen refreshes and they lose all preset data. This has happened to me while creating a world before.
JSON UI didn't do this. Why does OreUI?
If you have having performance issues with OreUI, please upvote this report on the bug tracker! These screens should be performing as well as JSON UI, yet they are almost unusable on some people's devices (such as Eckosoldier below!)

The general fog here is "thicker" based on settings but it's not as thick in game with similar light shaft visibility
It only seems to be jungles I can properly get looking right tho. Every other biome just looks wrong even after my changes

I've personally been a fan of some of the new songs. I also like how they play based on biome. Old school biomes are more likely to play the classic music where the new ones like the giant mountains or deep dark play the new stuff

Do the errors in content logs get reported back to mojang? If not could that be added. Even if it's just a count.
Content log errors don't get reported back to Mojang. That could be because those errors are caused by the user and not the game
Yes but them seeing 5 billions errors of x show up in the last update, would be a great warning sign to them, vs hoping the users report it
Up until 2 updates ago they didn't care about an empty event in items. Now they write a log about each one over and over... If they could see the change they could easily fix that for us all on their side

The format version issues is not my fault. So saying content log errors are only for stuff you f'ed up on is not true.
There are countless times mojang causes content logs or issues that logs out.. Having access to that from us even as a toggle opt in would be helpful IMO.

1.20.72 worked just fine until this update.
we used 1.20.72 and NOT 1.20.70 because 1.20.70 was held back and 1.20.72 was released. So to access those features we needed this format version.
Now with 1.20.80 the format version 1.20.72 is not valid.
Thats NOT on me, thats on them. So them seeing my content logs have millions of these errors popping up and spamming my log files should be a great warning sign something is up.
You shouldn't need to do the hotfix numbers in min engine 🤔
1.20.70 would be fine, I don't actually know what happens if you use hotfix numbers, because they might not make BP / rp engine cuts for that
If a content error appears in the normal game, it's Mojangs fault
If the content error appears but you are sure they are wrong about it, you file a bugreport on https://bugs.mojang.com/ with clear steps to reproduce and provided a pack

Hotfix numbers for min engine is not needed as no content will ever be versioned to a hotfix (like 1.20.72) but instead the minor updates (1.20.70, 1.20.80, etc.)

Second one. Notice this is 1.16.0 formate. 2 updates ago now a EMPTY event causes a content log error over and over. Yet an empty event as been allowed for years and years. It's in my template of bridge v1 it's been there so long.

Some of them are just removing the empty event object. Making sure things don't have duplicate names. Some textures aren't right

locators and binder bones (Which is by design and expected) I don't need you have 1,000,000 logs about it in 10 minutes
None of these do anything or effect my game other than destory my hardware and cause performance issues.

Locators are in differnet places because in that view I need them in differnet locations. It default to the one it is just fine and works

There are times I need real errors. But a 200mb .log file is useless... And even off it's still causing a performance hit I assume.

The solution they could have said was "remove the content"
I think you need to understand there are two things:
- Content error logs are being spammed every gametick is (according to you) a bug. That should be report on the bugtracker (following the template). You need to send your whole pack, if you think someone might steal it, you can mark a bugreport "private" so only you, moderators and Mojang can see it without any risk of it being stolen
- The pack you use for your addon creates content errors because they don't follow the logic Mojang has provided. If you don't think that is fair, you can either
- Fix your errors to stop the content errors from being logged
- Turn off the content error log file and content error GUI (screen)
- File a feedback submission in the feedback Discord
- Not use your addon
The logging the same error multiple times in one world load is a bug that's actionable and not vague 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
4th option for 2 is resolve the content logs rich
Further arguing this will only lead into same conclusion as I just described
5th option is to ignore it and expect Mojang to do better.

There may be a bug with the repetition of the same error. It should be reported.
Aside from that content logs protect add-on creators from breaking the game, their own content, customers (in the case of the marketplace), or having weird and unexpected behavior.
There are options to disable both the GUI and log file.
- report bug
- fix content
- turn off log file
- turn off Gui
These are kind of the options

I don't think anyone here has used or pointed out the new set_armor_trim loot table function. It works great and is a good stopgap until we get, perhaps, a scripting method.
(Unless I'm stupid because it's so hard to keep up with scripting pace, and they've already done this…)

They're really similar to tick.json. They're just a way to run a bunch of functions using a single command.

This isn't the same thing. Tags merge between datapacks.
So if I had a datapack that acts like a framework, I can append to (or even override) its tags.
All tags behave this way. It's not limited to function tags.

Yeah, I was trying to figure out a way to explain it properly. It's a basic feature on the surface, but there's a couple important details that require datapack knowledge.
It would definitely need a different syntax for Bedrock though. Especially since namespaces aren't defined using folder names.

I was gonna ask why they were still using 0.1.0 but then I realised that it was because some stuff are still in beta and 0.1.0 was not removed because of marketplace (probably)
the thing about bedrock is that bedrock doesnt merge multiple packs, the higher one overrides the bottom one. sure some files do merge (albeit only when set correctly like JSON UI), but majority of it does not.
what Java does is that they have mod loaders that iirc doesnt just load the mods invidually, but rather, compile and build all of them into one mod. and then load everything as one properly without overriding one another
as for data packs, however, im not sure. but it could very well behave the same
Data packs behave just like behavior packs. The order determines what gets overriden.

Yes. They get their namespace from the namespace folder they're in.
Also Bedrock already has some merging behavior, but it's very limited. tick.json and sounds are good examples.
one thing thats great to be mergeable would be server and client entity files. really i think the only problem is that the game wouldnt know which ones are which to merge, like in instances where to append and where to overwrite. which already has solutions they've made: firstly, you can separately define via namespaces; secondly, the pack order. i'm not sure whats the hold up from letting them do that properly other than the (re)naming issue.
