Reading something from the beginning is something I have only ever done with the overlord light novel, and mushoku tensei light novel

Cuz they were absolute bangers

Imo IF and only IF you can get into a school that’s super cheap and/or that the fafsa will mostly cover it, i would go for art anyway. Hone your skills in a formal setting, meet people who’ve mastered stuff like figures, be able to observe and draw models who are sitting right in front of you

But on the other hand, people say to be smart n realistic n whatnot for a reason. Ik my mother would side eye my if I even uttered half of the word art in relation to school

She used to criticize my sister for wanted to pursue acting. My sister does something else nowadays, but I doubt she regrets choosing to pursue that at the time

So the gun for example was drawn w a reference the first time then without one the second time. But eventually the idea would be to learn the actual anatomy of the gun so constructing it without a ref would be easy. Idk why but i really wanna learn how to draw guns and motorcycles

Yea, like black butler for example, Ciel getting kidnapped, escaping, father assassinated, wanting revenge but anxious, the ending is clearly him getting his revenge

In the manga at least

So you can kinda expect what will happen

How he will grow etc

But like, what I’m saying is, I will never plan for a “ending” of the story, only an “ending” for the characters if that makes sense

Yeah. Or Death Parade ends with the mc still being an Arbiter (Arbiters are a species that decide the fate of the dead), but because of the events of the story, we know he’s going to change his approach to judgment

It’s still one of my favorites and the fact that I cannot find good quality merch for it saddens me

But I feel like its themes, the questions it poses, and its answers to those questions are very tight knit and well executed

One of the characters gets what I would call an ending, but she is the catalyst for what I would consider a new beginning for the mc at the end of the anime

Which really explored that physocolgical side

Loved the first part of Death Note before L died

Monster and Ping Pong have pretty good psychological elements (though Ping Pong is much more grounded and subtle about it since the stakes are more internal for the characters rather than lives or the world being at stake)
