Go to LocalLow and find the file mkarpenko (Press M to bring you to files starting with M)

Go to: Worldbox > Saves. And then either create a save1 - save30 or use an existing save file and put the map.json file in the save (it has to be named exactly map.json or map depending whether you have file name extensions on or off, or it will not work. Putting the preview on the map is completely optional and will still work regardless if it has or doesn't have the preview.)

I added to my map generation on my bot
you can customize a generated map with more detail than before
mostly perlin scale and how it affects the result
as well as the other piece to the map convertor which lets you set a target size for a map to generate at

Also, as map creators, if you have any ideas for future stuff I can try to make it happen

its just such a wildly high number value in certain areas
that it generates weird weird looks
generally the decimal ones like
-0.1 should be low increase in value
or you get sporatic results
I'll probably add some guidelines so that you know what reasonable values are

default lac and persistance are 0.5 2.0
and you went way over that
I would stay within 1 or 2 digits within those ranges
setting the persistance to 3.0 makes it look more spray brushed
messing with Lacunarity with even an increase to only "1"
will make it generate really weird structures
I didn't disable the limits on these for people who want this wild generation

already takes a little bit to generate the 25x25
maps larger than 25x25 are often less common and higher than a lot of people can run
its the equiv of the old 32x32

Bathymetry does indeed need a bit more work
But otherwise its map generation is already significantly better than the in-game map generator

currently its setup to let you use its full functionality where before I just had it based on threshold
and some adjustments to the generation to generate properly
the next step is improving what it generates and possibly adding more specific types like island/continent and rivers/lakes
as well as tweaking the oceans
