-download map json
-move the map json to any save file in "files" in "com.mkarpenko.worldbox"
-before moving the map json delete the old map json from save file you want to put the new map in
-when you load the game the map should be in the save file you put it in
Additional info:
-com.mkarpenko.worldbox is located in Internal Storage - Data -Android and look for it
-you should use some file manager
-do not delete the save in-game. Only delete the map json in the file manager

rename file to map.json if the file appears as map_(number).json
You have to put the map json into one of these save files but remember to delete the old one

@prisma raven I personally remember that ios versions older than 8.3 (8.2 and lower) were able to be modified through a PC using ifunbox. Don't think there is any updated equivalent, and you can't really roll back your ios version

No, you most probably cannot... downgrading to that version would likely need break applications and I don't think you're meant to scale down ever since ios 10

It's hypothetically possible, but it's not worth the hassle even if you did find a successful way to downgrade

So i've got a question. I've deleted a save and replaced it with a custom map.json and when I load up worldbox and select that save it prompts me to save the load in world. The Europe map went in fine, so whats the deal with that?

Yes. make sure the files are named properly, regardless - preview.png and map.json

#

Preview is optional, but it would help to initially identify the save; if you save on top of it on the same world, the game will make anew preview so you don't have to move the preview if you don't want to.

Save file sharing instructions for iOS:

Download a file manager
Find a map to download and save it in the file manager.
Download a file injector (they’re not on the AppStore, so you must download it from the web).
Once you have found one open it up and select WorlBox.
Select the file of the map you wanna use (needs to be named map.json) then inject.
Open up WorldBox and load the save
-WARNING! SAVED MAPS MAY GET DELETED

You need to manually edit the image you used and give it the colour palette used by the converter

#

Otherwise the wrong terrain types will be in the wrong places

Save file sharing instructions for iOS:

Download a file manager
Find a map to download and save it in the file manager.
Download a file injector (they’re not on the AppStore, so you must download it from the web).
Once you have found one open it up and select WorlBox.
Select the file of the map you wanna use (needs to be named map.json) then inject.
Open up WorldBox and load the save

Just download the map file and picture and place it in Android/Data/com.mkarpenko.worldbox/files/saves/save1. You can also do save2 (and more) if you have premium. Use a file manager for all of this. Map file needs to be named "map.json" and the picture preview.png

-download map json
-move the map json to any save file in "files" in "com.mkarpenko.worldbox"
-before moving the map json delete the old map json from save file you want to put the new map in
-when you load the game the map should be in the save file you put it in
Additional info:
-com.mkarpenko.worldbox is located in Internal Storage - Data -Android and look for it
-you should use some file manager
-do not delete the save in-game. Only delete the map json in the file manager

rename file to map.json if the file appears as map_(number).json
