- "Username" is replaced with whatever username you're using for your PC account.
- Make sure that you have the "Show hidden folders" setting on.
- If it's not on, then go to File -> Change Folder and Search Options -> View -> Show hidden files, folders, and drives
- The Users\Username\AppData\LocalLow\mkarpenko\WorldBox\saves directory contains multiple folders named save1, save2, save3, and so on depending on how many saves you have already. Create a new folder using the lowest number that hasn't been used yet (so, for example, if save1, save2, and save3 already exist, create a new folder called save4).
- Place the map.json and preview.png (this file is optional, but if you don't place it along with map.json, the save slot will appear blue in-game as if it were empty, but the save will still be there and be loadable) which you have downloaded from this channel into the new folder you've just made.
- Given the previous example of "save4", if that's where you placed the files, you need to open the 4th save slot in-game to load it. If you placed it in, for example, "save7", then you need to open the 7th save slot in-game.
- If uploading save files in this channel, refer to steps 1-5, then open the save folder that contains the map save that you want to upload here in #🌐map-downloads , and upload the map.json file and the preview.png file from that folder to here.

So I hope this content is okay here, as it's a tool to create maps.
The tool is a simple python script that reads an image, converts it to WorldBox colors and saves it as a map file. When you execute the script you can select the image and the choose whether to apply dithering or not. It doesn't offer much control but for images it produces good results. If you are instead converting a map file to the world map it's better to use an image editor like Photoshop or GIMP and perform the indexing (https://graphicdesign.stackexchange.com/questions/654/how-to-convert-a-pattern-photo-to-a-given-palette) in the program itself as you will have more control. I have included the WorldBox color swatch in the folder. If you create the dithering or conversion with the image editor, then select to not apply dithering when making the conversion to a map file.

About what specifically
You never gave any details
-download map.json
-move the map.json to any save file in "files" in "com.mkarpenko.worldbox"
-before moving the map.json delete the old map.json from save file you want to put the new map in
-when you load the game the map should be in the save file you put it in
Additional info:
-com.mkarpenko.worldbox is located in Internal Storage - Data -Android and look for it
-you should use some file manager
-do not delete the save in-game. Only delete the map.json in the file manager
- rename file to map.json if the file appears as map_(number).json
You have to put the map.json into one of these save files but remember to delete the old one

then all u have to do is save it again and you have the preview there
