If steps below don't work or android 14+ use these alternative methods :

1. Download a third-party application like "File Manager" from google play,
2. Now go to your phone’s "settings" application, after that find/search an factory system application called "Files" (has a darker blue background with a big white folder in the center of the icon), then click it,
3. you will be showed the "app info" screen after clicked the "Files" application, find the three dots button,
4. After you see the three dots button, click the three dots button and then if it has an "uninstall updates" option there, make sure to choose the option (wait until the uninstalling process is done and completed to avoid a mistake),
5. Now open the third-party application (File Manager) and allow it to manage files,
6. Find the "Android" folder and open it, then open the data folder,
7. You'll see some popup, touch "ok"/"yes" and also touch the "use this folder" button at bottom without opening any files that are showing,
8. If you have succeeded, the app will now have access to android file and can enter the saves folder in "com.mkarpenko.worldbox" folder.

If steps below don't work or android 14+ use these alternative methods :

2. Now go to your phone’s "settings" application, after that find/search an factory system application called "Files" (has a darker blue background with a big white folder in the center of the icon), then click it,

4. After you see the three dots button, click the three dots button and then if it has an "uninstall updates" option there, make sure to choose the option (wait until the uninstalling process is done and completed to avoid a mistake),

7. You'll see some popup, touch "ok"/"yes" and also touch the "use this folder" button at bottom without opening any files that are showing,

is it just me or does the game just, run like shit?

it doesn't even use all the resources it should be using

it uses only around 7.5 GB of RAM and 30% of my CPU, but it runs at like 5 fps 💔

Context: World size is around 30x30 at 40x speed. But still, shouldn't it be using more resources to atleast try and run better?

Even on smaller worlds like 15x15 with 100 max pop turned on, it'll still run considerably slow and not use the resources it should be

on a 20x20 map, its giving 5 fps but the CPU and GPU
usage are not more then 10%. in simulation games All
omplexity is packed into one or two threads (yes,
that's why your CPU/GPU might be using 10% usage
but giving 5-10 FPS). So, it doesn't fully leverage that
power, but the CPU has room to handle much more if
the game logic could be parallelized.
So, what could happen?
1. Most simulation logic runs on one thread: Unit Al,
pathfinding, fire, aging, etc. As a result, only one
core is fully used while others stay idle. That
means the game uses 1/16 cores for heavy units
-that sounds correct and that's a game problem.
2. the Game Engine Is the Bottleneck: The game
engine, Unity, is coded in a way that prevents the
computer from using 100% of its power. A game
engine bottleneck is when the game's code, not
your computer's power, is the slowest part and is
nolding everything back. Here, the slowest part is
the game engine itself, but it shows in task
manager that it uses all CPUs```

How to access the worldbox data folder on android 11 to 13.
If steps below don't work or android 14+ use these alternative methods :

1. Download a third-party application like "File Manager" from google play,
2. Now go to your phone’s "settings" application, after that find/search an factory system application called "Files" (has a darker blue background with a big white folder in the center of the icon), then click it,
3. you will be showed the "app info" screen after clicked the "Files" application, find the three dots button,
4. After you see the three dots button, click the three dots button and then if it has an "uninstall updates" option there, make sure to choose the option (wait until the uninstalling process is done and completed to avoid a mistake),
5. Now open the third-party application (File Manager) and allow it to manage files,
6. Find the "Android" folder and open it, then open the data folder,
7. You'll see some popup, touch "ok"/"yes" and also touch the "use this folder" button at bottom without opening any files that are showing,
8. If you have succeeded, the app will now have access to android file and can enter the saves folder in "com.mkarpenko.worldbox" folder.

Restoring Premium:

3. If premium isn't restored then look for the "has_rcpt" text in game near the top (stands for "has receipt").

5. To confirm this check your purchase history for WorldBox.
