When we got that teaser we were told it’s still a wip so it might not make sense right now. But, I think your best option is to search up gene loci.

It’s been a while since I took biology but I think they sort of determine a units physical traits. Sort of like dna. Certain strands may mutate and give different effects or cancel each other out. Some units may just carry loci that have no effect on them but may change and affect offspring. Some loci may intensify effects in others or weaken them.

If you look up at the chromosomes the bright one seems to be the chromosome that those loci are on. I bet if you clicked the darker chromosome it would show a different set of loci.

yeah, the kingdom that initiated this war only has one city to it's name. And it's city is surrounded by potential enemies in 180 degrees, while it's allies have to cross a desert, as well as they are in a choke point

meaning that the defenders simply had to take the city as quick as possible before the reinforcements could arrive, and in taken one city in the span of 2 years, ended the war

so much for the alliance expansion plan that blew up in the face

and there is a very compelling reason to expand the alliance when this is your neighbor

I’ve been running a space themed build where only race’s “homeworlds” get biome, and the rest of the planets are barren. Its pretty cool. This current run is happening in the shadow of a massive precursor civilization, so… ignore the galactic core.

The main thing is that worlds that aren’t homeworlds can’t support higher dockyards, which means that only homeworlds can send ships to colonize new planets or, more importantly, send armies to conquer new land.
