So this is interesting. My elves have a clan where some other guy is the clan chief, and 2 different kings are members. (The 2nd king recently started a rebellion because I was trying to curse a tornado and I must've hit some people in the process oops. 😛 )

Been seeing this map a lot recently, I still have no clue what it is

over 400+ hours on a world with over 120 nations and 190 villages. Every continent has its own geography and capitals, in some cases islands. I had to create separate dirt containers and meticulously draw borders to represent each nation as one or more chunks. I also had to create distinct names for every village and kingdom. Throughout the process, I've been sharing my progress on this server, both to store it for future reference and to give others a glimpse into my journey.

Oh no way 😄 It's quite challenging to maintain these nations without conflict, especially since the windmill update forced me to disable hunger and later on, as more countries were added, their size became smaller. Some nations were unable to reproduce, so I had to disable old age as well. Another thing is that, each world has its own average population, and for this alternative world, I had to set a population cap of 12,000 to prevent the game from becoming too laggy or corrupting itself. As a result, the strongest nations are typically those with a population of 200-500, which is considered dominant in this world. Despite these challenges, this setup works well for me.

For example, I’ve seen clan chiefs with relatives as kings of large kingdoms and high influence, so that could play a factor in it, alongside kings with larger and stronger nations having more influence

Real talk, all you need is a bit of motivation at the start. For me, the satisfaction I get from creating a fictional world doesn't necessarily come from completing the work, but rather from building the backstory, geography, and cultures. Personally, I found that naming nations, creating landmarks, and shaping continents made the project more enjoyable. Without these elements, I may have lost my will to continue working on the world. Rather than setting a challenging task, consider starting with a smaller goal. For instance, you could try creating 20 nations and then breaking them down into smaller ones. As you do this, you might also want to develop rich histories and backstories for each of them. This can make the process more enjoyable and less overwhelming. I've personally been able to craft unique stories for each nation in my project. In my view, this approach is even more rewarding than simply playing the game casually. By imagining this world as a real place with its own countries, conflicts, disasters, and alliances, it can make game play elements like wars, apocalypses, survival games, and unification much more engaging and impactful. Here is also a comparison of my current world and the one 11 months ago.
