In this one save of this one world I got, humanity used to have a population of 6600+ across 32 villages, now 50 years after the zombie apocalypse it’s 307 across two on the opposite sides of the continent, with roughly 2000 zombies and fungus men dividing them. These are some of the resulting leaders, a parent and a kid who ruled over one of the surviving societies after the end

Cuz of that immunity trait

It’s interesting cuz most of the commoners of the northern survivors are constantly succumbing to the plague, and along the border they’re turning into zombies and fungus men from time to time before they get put down. Average age is like 24, shit loads of child soldiers or 18yos being sent to be turned into more zombies and then having to get killed by their successors

They kill enough the general society doesn’t get overrun but everyone dies of plague unless they’re one of the kings immune kids or something

And then the ones on the southern village live in the tropics on an island where they’ve ended the disease and everyone lives till a ripe old age and has tons of fruit lmao

The northerners are gonna be so jelly if they manage to carve thru the army of the dead over the next few generations

Also the world had a lot of white mages and druids turned zombie so those are fun

I don’t even add new zombies the natural flow of things keeps a tragic steady supply

Also when soldiers are ‘fortunate’ enough to return home they spread one infection or another to all their friends and loved ones and cause an outbreak that their comrades and replacements have to take out

And then there’s just the intermittent plague which if the northerners expand will probably become endemic to the continent anyways and assure constant bad times

The southerners do noooot feel like trying anything to touch the mainland tho lmao would be more trouble than it’s worth colonists would get ate in the first place

Keep in mind Wyken is currently only based out of one village, Osidan

It’s just massive cuz they never try to settle a new place entirely they just take it back square by square reoccupying decades-abandoned ruins as they go
