Unicorns would be passive agressive creatures meaning they would only attacked if attacked. When killed tjey would drop a random ore -

Golems would be able to be made by the villages. I also think they should have various forms like, snow golems in ice biomes, and maybe a fire golem if its placed by lava? Or my second idea for it is that villages could create it. It would take alot of stone bur it would stand by the borders of their village and protect it. I thonk theyd be as strong as like 3 bears. -
Zombie forms of all the animals.
Pretty much zombies would be more violent and attack EVERYTHING. And if a creature is killed by a zombie it would also be a zombie. I think things like, wolves, bears, and priahnas would be good, (and possibly sheep and other passive animals) Im just gonna keep posting dis

Some potential race suggestions:
The Undead: A race that thrives in frozen areas. Their main building would be a graveyard before upgrading to something like a WC3 necropolis. Their houses would be tombstones before upgrading into crpyts. The buildings can create a blight that would give bonuses to undead races (healing, speed, etc.) They expand and multiply slowly but every time they kill a humanoid their pop increase but they're also weak. The Cold Ones could be a friendly to them.
The Demons: A race that thrives in the volcano or any place with huge amount of lava. Their buildings could be carved or made out of rock, complete with skulls or whatever. They're the strongest of the other race but like the undead, they expand and multiply slowly but they don't increase their pop for every kills.
If the alliance mechanic is created, these two races are incapable of diplomacy and in fact can be the reason of a defense pact (think of them as crisis factions in Stellaris.)
Now that I think about... How about a chronicler? If any of you play CK2 you know what I'm saying. It'd be an interesting read.
Rival System
The more Kingdoms or villages fight the more likely they will send invasions after each other, the more they hate each other also means the father they can attack each other from, meaning the more in the negative their diplomatic relations are, the farther they will travel to try and take each other out.
controlling system allows you to controll a person or more world rules like no need for stone for the village to evolve

Fear can not deteriorate if the creature is gaining any amount of fear

Fear 50-70: moves 1,3x faster (adrenaline rush), children flee
Fear 70-80: begins trying to slightly retreat
Fear 80-100: runs away from every fear inducing thing
What adds fear:
Spotted an enemy: 2/s
Gets hit: 2 fear per 1hp
Lava in the nearby tile: 100 fear
Piranha in 5 nearby tiles: 100 fear
Fire in the nearby tile: 10/s
Hometown destroyed: 100 fear every second for 5 seconds, runs away from the hometown.

I know kingdom flags are already suggested but you should be able to add your flags from your phone that you made.

What I want to see is a system between different Kingdoms where maybe if another Kingdom destroys the enemy Kingdom's flag then they conquer that Kingdom and their Kingdom turns into an Empire, the Conquerors will then have an Emperor instead of a King and the conquered people will have to give half of their When from time to time and fight for the Conquerors. When Empires fight Empire they completely take over the other Empire's Capital but not the Sovereign States, the conquered people from the dead Empire will be freed but there is a chance they could get conquered again.
An Empire, again to be clear, would be made up of the Capital Kingdom and other Kingdoms it has conquered.
Also, add different kinds of sea creatures.
Another suggestion to add on is when a person or other race is injured they can heal by eating, just one bite and they are full health, they have to get it from a house.
My next suggestion to add on a more militarized vibe is to make it so when kingdoms and empires fight they can actually use battle formations, this plays in with having archers, horse riders(add horses), and shields. They could set up formations by themselves, or when they or you initiate a war you could also choose the formation they will fight in. Have preset ones like the Roman Testudo, or Genghis Khan's famous runaway and lead the enemy into a shower of arrows.
A mine where they can collect any resource without you having to waste any space trying to put down resources
Make Bandits better, instead of being useless and dropping no bs everywhere, completely get rid of them and get pirates, which can make a pirate ship and raid land. With swords and bows, to keep it more ancient era.
Mermaids/mermen that can build city's in the water
They could build the city's and you could distinct them from the surrounding water, also they build city's out of stone

Yo, they should make time stamps. Like the stamp tool on trello, but instead of selecring land to copy, you permanently set the timeflow of that region. So animals wander into the region, civilizations learn to avoid it, and if something like a meteor falling or nuke dropping is caught in it, nearby civilizations have time to prepare for the devastation.

Would unlock for each civilization after building a shipyard/port, and would allow fast access across oceans, sea battles, and claiming water tiles.
Boats could be sunk by disasters, fire, ice, or all crew aboard being killed. They would cost wood and iron to build, and carry up to ten. Designs would vary for each race.

That is actually very needed, the kings commanding their own guard, the bigger the population of a kingdom the larger the guard is. Yeah
But if diplomacy is added they will head out into the field and set up camp outside of the enemy's territory

My Roman empire map sucks because augustus and caesar keep hurling themselves into battle unguarded. the guards would instantly kill anyone who hits the king.<how it would work.

No, but I am talking specific, guards for the kings/leaders.
The problem with walls right now is what if the territory expands
Walls are usually for the inner cities in real life and so maybe just wooden walls or spike barricades for the outsides that are at war and maybe they can be smart enoigh to block the roads with stone wals if they have enough stone.
Garrisons also could function as guards but yeah king's guards are better suited for monarch protection.
We need more Ancient/Rome/Greece era weapons and systems.

Well mesopotamian style mud houses for woodless homes are on the trello and sinvlce nordic folk are there too maybe they'll come as the greek ships and roman style expansions
Maybe the structures could look like real cultures from our time based on location by just changing the skins for all races to similar ones from real life (doesn't have to be the same style of skin such as egyptian for all races when they live in a river inside a desert, maybe the dwarves can look arabic+vikingish)

Speaking of physics ummm I would like a see a noticeable difference in elevation in the game

Golems
Appear at random from any ore that is mined that or spawned by the player that desires
Are friendly creatures that will attack when attacked but every race except for orcs are smart enough not to attack
After mined by a race that golems will occasionally poop but that poop is the ore that the golem is made out of
Every race except for orcs will try to farm these freindly creatures and expand
If the golem is fully developed it will turn into an ore and suddenly more ores pop out from no where around it
When angry at orcs they will attack causing earthquakes to happen in that area
If there is a meter to control the size of the golem the earthquakes will get stronger
If the golem steps on a person that person's kingdom will get mad
They will bring out a mage to surround the golem in a magic circle to them destroy it
However if this fails the earthquake will tear your map in half
Golems spawning naturally can be disabled

-They are just tiny glowing orbs to the player
-They do not attack and can't be attacked
-There color changes depending on the tree
-no harm can be done to the area around that tree
-If the tree is still alive it will become a world tree
-elves would then live in the world tree but the tree is no longer protected since the little creatures infused it with their life force

This guy spreads light and will destroy all of negativity it will bring world peace and make everything positive but once the next beast comes everything turns negative

Make another type of land called Deep Forest. Trees are very difficult to cut down and will grow back quickly. Units walking through it will have lower visibility, making it more likely to get lost and starve. Elves are the only unit that can live there.

If the game has run the game enough to already work on the future actions of the world if that makes any sense for going into the future.

A suggestion I have is to allow the dwarves to build inside mountains by hollowing them out and creating caves. All races could build in hollowed out mountains but only dwarves can hollow them out.
Not sure of its been suggested before but perhaps there could be a tool where you can design and generate your own villages, personally place buildings and farm land, etc, of course this would be more helpful and desired woth more building types but still could be fun.
Also another suggestion is for civilizations to build walls. They’re only built once the village is a bit big and they can be upgraded like all other buildings. They have openings for roads people, and they can be destroyed, although invaders will probably enter through the openings.
The walls will be expensive tho

A Freezers Bestiary :
Wyrms: small dragons (wolf-bear size?) that form small hives of up to ten in the deserts and mountains, they are territorial and are twice as strong as bears and have about as much health. The eat Cacti and small animals
Gathes:Humanoids that primarily live in ruins, they know not how to build and sleep though out history only awaking at night or if disturbed by animals and other humanoids, they primarily feast of sheep and cats but will sneak into villages at night and slaughter infants/children as Gathes are extremely swift. Gathes populations are controlled by the amount of ruins there are, but small bands (3-5?) can wander the world until they come across a place to rest.
Sirens: a type of humanoid that lives in underwater communities that grow much the same as land communities, they lure people and animals to shorelines and kill them when the swim into open water, due to this they are prone to starvation if they eat too many animals in the land around them.
Crabs:Crabs, BUT THEY ARE HUGE. These crabs are the size of people and swarm along the beaches, reproducing in vast numbers but starve very easily, they have twice as much health of people but are slow and very weak.
Maybe a border tool? A way to draw the borders of a town? And definitely a build tool to put down houses

My proposal: You can see through water a tiny bit to the bottom of the water, but would mean to add more materials likely to be in the nature section or landscape section. Said materials would be Wet Sand (Placed Underwater), Wet Dirt (Placed Underwater), and Wet Gravel (Placed Underwater). There should be a option to randomize it as well. And maybe add dry gravel to the landscape section as a resource to create fires. Said fires to be made will need the creature(s) of kingdom or anything like that to gather gravel and thense (its a word now) they'll be able to create such fire. I run on mobile and I'm sorry if my suggestions are slightly plain. If accepted, DM and I may think of textures. (My IQ is low so please don't mind the space of my brain :( )

it would be interesting to have different races have different architectural styles based on where they build their buildings, i.e. humans in the desert would have clay huts that develop into palaces, orks in the cold have igloos, elves build high towers near mountains/dwarves build keeps near mountains, etc.

Chronicler: It takes note of any events that took part in the kingdom. Each kingdom will have their own chronicles and thus their own views regarding the events. The events are divided into two classes: Major and minor.
Major Events - Events that directly affects the kingdom.
Examples:
- A dragon attacked the capital, killing # men and destroying # houses.
- The king "Name" died and is succeeded by prince/princess/heir "Name".
- A tornado/earthquake or whatever god power you used has struck the kingdom.
- "Enemy Kingdom" has declared war on us.
Minor Events - Events that have little to no influence to the kingdom. Practically fillers.
Kingdom Policies - As it names suggest, this feature is in charge in how a kingdom will act.
Expansionist: Will aggressively try to take more land either through war or building more villages.
Isolationist: Will grow to a certain size before focusing solely on internal affairs.
Market: Will attempt to make trade agreements with other kingdoms.
There is also border policy which is either open or closed.
I'd like to also suggest a tweak to expansion. It doesn't make sense for a village to be created so far from the capital and still be aligned to that kingdom especially when there's another kingdom/village between it. At the very least expansion should follow the "All roads lead to Rome" expression once the road between kingdoms is implemented. Imagine the border gore.

How about this: each color borders actually mean something and changed the Theme of the kingdom, example: if we had a black border the people and building would be gothic or emo with dark aged buildings
I would like to see boats and other vehicles added to the game, such as carts, and maybe horse drawn chariots, but especially boats. It would be nice if once the different factions each reached a certain threshold they would each start building them. I find it strange that there's so much water around and none of the different factions have a navy. It would be cool to be able to watch the warring factions get into navel battles with their warships! If you're going to add boats through, you also need to add aquatic creatures much more powerful than those Piranha, maybe a Kraken that would be a able to take down their ships once they start building them. @keen vine better ai and pathfinding is on the trello @thick grove already in-game during big wars but i believe better ai to make them actively duel is on the trello in the jarls and kings, @forest rune already on the trello in mud houses for different resources aswell as nords who are hyman vikings, @vernal anvil plagues and tumor creatures(sort of zombie plague like) aswell as zombie hives are on the trello @hard valenecromancers and evil mages are on the trello.

What about trees that elves use as their capitals or shrines that let them summon one giant or wood golem once and it slightly boosts strength, can be mountains or rocks for dwarves that have faces carved on them that enchants rheir weapons and items, for humans i think they should have a water fall that turns either turns black, gold, red or clear depending on the season and boosts effects such as lesser plague damage, more trade, higher chance of victory and peace, finally for the orcs a large piece of rock from a nearby or extinguished volcano that bleeds lava and turns into obsidian or iron that can only be broken by enchanted weapons.
Tl;dr special buildings that give special effects for each race and maybe even religion can play a role in it.

Maxim you should add Rocket science for really advanced kingdoms / villages / civilisations
So if a kingdom launches a rocket you could see other planets (you could also launch rockets manually and steer them) and a kingdom can colonize a planet
And you can also make your own custom planets / moon

The suggestion relates to volcanoes, acid sprays and geysers. Instead of a steady stream for lava, acid or water, the eruptions should be occasional but violent. Right now, all the volacoes do arespew some lava and creates a pool of lava at the base. What I think it should do is be like a typical real life volcano, an occasional but violent eruption, like and explosion every 3-30 minutes and 100-500 pixels of lava should erupt out of it.

Suggestion for the antimatter bomb. We need a trade system, since gold does absolutely nothing at the moment, i'd be good to have nearby kingdoms trading goods
City walls?

maybe knights? or rather 'assigned' warriors for NPCs. where they can go to war like they normally do, however upon reaching the 'medieval' age (when they get stone buildings and castles)
any excess villagers (Which i begin to notice there will become a lot of) will become warriors, and get a new look of having a weapon and armor, (like a helmet and shoulder-plates, like a barbarian or something, idk.) but they will actively seek out threats to the town, or organize into a formation, then assault another town. and if there are city walls then some will stay behind to watch them at all times, which attacking NPCs must destroy segments of before getting to the town, but walls would only be available in the time where they have stone buildings available.
i think gunpowder and such shouldn't be allowed for villages and their soldiers. Or at least be optional, because then you don't really see wars, just a bunch of explosions, which blow up more and more land that you build and were thinking that 'hey, maybe conquest', well instead everything got blown up

The leader in a capital city shouldn't be listed as a different person than the king
Why have a ruler in a capital city if the kings already there, it just seems weird to me
Current rulers can be seen as governors, so having a ruler and a king in the capital makes more sense as the king may want to focus on managing kingdom affairs instead of managing the capital directly.

New race called Outlaws (not the dynamite bandits) they build small camps made up of tents and a fire. All they do is terrorize the nearby city's by going on raiding party's.

The Balrog is an ancient creature created by an evil dark lord. The Balrog is a mix between the demon and dragon. It leaves a big trail of fire behind it and destroys everything especially dwarves.
When it rains like when you put clouds and it rains it would be cool that the villagers go to their homes and stay there until it stops raining and then continue working. It makes it more realistic
Also it would be cool if the villagers can build bridges, cause it's like akward when they swim

Having the player be able to set what nation is at war/allied with one another and an option for just AI-led relations and diplomacy. Hopefully the developer sees the suggestion and takes it into consideration when adding in diplomacy.

Someone suggested this and I am promoting it: stone golems for each race that defend the villages and maybe the people can build walls around their villages.

I don’t know if this has been suggested (I assume it has) but what about cities being able to trade with each other? For example, you have a capital city with tons of stone and iron but no wood. A smaller settlement in the same Faction could have lots of wood but nothing else. They trade and can expand.
I would also love to see more then 1 type of farm. For example, a city might have a wheat farm, a corn farm, cattle farm, and tree farm. It will feel far more alive then just wheat randomly spread around the city.
Also can we maybe have the times fast forward option free I know that probably wont happen but its really slow building a civilation it takes forever you'll be there for hours
@fossil dagger While that sounds interesting, if Golems were added I'd still like civilization to have the ability to construct walls themselves(either weaker ones or slower-built ones).

Has there been any consideration for seasons? The city grows food during Spring, summer, and fall, and during winter everything is cold, trees don’t have leaves, and farms can’t grow. Something like that could make the world feel more alive as well.
Another one I had, would be different jobs in a village, and each building holds its resource. You might have the main hall and houses, but also a blacksmith (holds all of the metals, a wood chopper (holds the wood), a farm house (stores the food), and the mine. If one of those building is destroyed, you lose the resources it had.
Could be used along side the walls expansion someone else is asking about. Could also give a good reason for a military update.
When the civilization is on the "stone age", they could do a formation when attacking an enemy village. It could be a square, a circle, etc

An expansion on the military update could go like this. Let’s say you have a population of 4 in a village. You would have 2 builders building everything, a farmer making sure everyone has food, and a single soldier to protect it. As the village grows into a town and then a city, more and more people become warriors. They may use wood tools until stone is acquired (does not take away from stone reserves). Once a mine is build with a blacksmith house in the city, they will start getting iron tools and weapons, then finally silver.
They’ll equip armour and weapons, thus making them more effective in defending their city from invaders, but also being able to attack more effectively.

@rotund halo i'm pretty sure trade, alot war stuff such as warrior types and battle plans/better a.i for it aswell as better weapons, job buildings for fishermen, smiths and etc, weather types based on location and time maybe even seasons @sour patio all of those are being planned @snow stone plagues are planned

if a kingdom has a lot of expansion some of the villages far away could leave the kingdom and start a new one causing civil wars
also make it so when a village attacks another village it is more coordinated so the AI's don't just hit a house until they die and only sending 1 person to attack

Borders
Usually I don't want 2 nations to fight even though they are touching borders and I don't want to turn on Peace Mode because I don't want ALL my nations to stop. so can The Border tool be a thing, it highlights a area that People & Monsters can not cross it.
The Border highlight would be togglable with the City names and City borders.

Have trade routes for ships/ports been suggested? I'm not sure if that's possible, but being able to trade through the sea would be pretty awesome.
Adding relations between kingdoms that you can toggle in settings like Allies and enemies that can naturally change throughout wars but you can also set it
adding some army tactics like sending 5 solders each 3 min to kingdom enemy or waves

@midnight dawn there is a disscussion about how diplomacy can stop wars on certain peoples and how mountains are to be updated to be a permanent border that either only the skilled can cross or only the dwarves, thus making a fixed border.
Ahhhhh But What im looking for is something we can highlight because I don't want to ruin my entire map with Mountains Lol, In my opinion if its just a shade like country borders it will be more usable by players. 🙂

As seen in this concept there is a difference between pirate ships and army ships for different races and those can be used by bandits or vikings (human pirate ship and dwarven turtle ship)

No, but the concept above was sent to maxim and i heard that the next update may or may not focus on the cities and the armies aswell as the diplomacy but those were just rumours @hidden lotus
Maybe next update you can alter trades and alliances and enemies to experiment

Okay so my next idea is that every race should have a special building that they are able to build when they reach let's say 250 resources for gold, solve, and stone. And that building will serve as a place to grow food and live
Dwarves
-they will build this one large steampunk like tower that archers can shoot out of that or siege wepons
-so it's defensive and serves as a fort
The Elves
-A giant tree that can serve as a Temple or living structure and anything hostile towards the elves is put under paralysis if In a certain radius of the tree
The orcs
-A gladiator arena that can serve as a way the orcs can get stronger and the winner becomes the next orc chieftain
The humans
-A large religious temple where mages go and train to learn healing and destructive magic fight (but it could just create medics
@fringe valve so basically i wrote something like that already, What about trees that elves use as their capitals or shrines that let them summon one giant or wood golem once and it slightly boosts strength, can be mountains or rocks for dwarves that have faces carved on them that enchants rheir weapons and items, for humans i think they should have a water fall that turns either turns black, gold, red or clear depending on the season and boosts effects such as lesser plague damage, more trade, higher chance of victory and peace, finally for the orcs a large piece of rock from a nearby or extinguished volcano that bleeds lava and turns into obsidian or iron that can only be broken by enchanted weapons.
Tl;dr special buildings that give special effects for each race and maybe even religion can play a role in it.
Maybe everyrace can have a superunit like the wood golem for example but only the dwarves orcs humans and elves can cause the coldones zombies etc are already quite powerful

What about peaceful fish in the sea and the addition of corral in shallow water?
Maybe add a menu where you could view all past and current conflicts between kingdoms, and maybe artificially start conflicts ranging from minor skirmishes to all out wars?
