I have an idea, what if when two races interact, there will be an option box come up to where it will ask if they will be peaceful to one another or declare war on one another. If you chose the war, they will act like they already do, hostile to one another. With the peace, however, they will not attack one another and they will mix communities and even fight commen enemies.

As a critic though, I must say, the one thing that bothers me on the gameplay in particular is that if say, we had some visually impaired audiences, they would not be able to specifically the organisms due to the colour pallet. So I'd increase the scale of the species in general in case. Other than that, the game shall be great in the future, and I already see this going far if a few things are tweaked and fixed.
