Like, other key tasks such as the ones involving RBST and Logistics are fine since those keys are (i think) equal rarity to other keys, thus they’re only rare because you get other keys more often.

I leave every raid 15 minutes in and I don’t deal with player scavs, but if there was an incentive to stay and fight them I might. Otherwise their just an arbitrary timer and make my raids unreasonably short.

Kill them for their gear sell their gear or wear it back into raid. Most of time I kill p-scavs they are naked and empty with a shotgun or mosin. No reason to fight them over a pmc who I can decide if I want to fight based on the gear he’s wearing. I can instantly look at a PMC and tell it’s worth the risk to fight him. Player scav? I’d rather just turn the other way. Not even worth the distraction.

Headphones 40k, helmet 40k, rig 40k, gun can go anywhere from 40k for something cheap all the way to 400k in parts. Armor can be sold to ragman for 40-50k usually depending on the condition. Ammo can be taken from the mags and sold and then the mags can be sold for about 40-50k as well. A scav? A scav gun I can’t sell + a scav rig + a scav backpack.

I've found multiple guns on customs during a 5 minute scav run that I then sold for easily over 300k combined with the rest of the crap I found

Buy a kit, load into raid, fill a bag, fight a guy with 0 risk who can 1 tap me given 1 lucky shot. Also if I get that lucky shot the reward to myself is null

Tbh I think you’re just bad. As someone who does questing with a mosin and lvl 3 armor no helmet and has almost twice as many PMC kills as I do raids I think you’re underestimating the power of a headshot.

but if you're curious, 5% on customs, 12 on woods/shoreline and 15% on lghthouse. they spawn around fortress/mechanic for customs, could be in the compound of lighthouse or near mountain pass that little buildings down there, the hilside building with the PC/Safe oin shoreline, or woods is the scav bunker/near car extract.

Players vary - chads are typically pretty fast. PMC population drops off pretty quick but depending on the map there can be a couple to a good few that linger. Player scavs spawn in and typically will be in the raid until the end.
