They've been made to struggle harder than usual for less than a week, I think that's in keeping with Tarkov's general theme lol. I am a Sherpa, and spend all my time helping new players - it's not hard to find food and water and meds in raid, and most of them I've talked to think the concept of global event like this is pretty cool, especially because they're not running into huge kitted players every raid - WAY more low-tier gear players rn than there's been for months

Yea, apply real world foreign policy principles to Tarkov... you guys gotta lighten up, don't take this too seriously. Have fun if you want or accept that for 5 days it'll be a bit harder than usual. Late wipe is often fairly repetitive and stagnant, this has really mixed it up and generated a lot of interest for what comes next - which I think is worth it.

"Realistic as playable and enjoyable" is what always comes to mind.
Low levels can always resort to the scav/offline cycle to gain just as much knowledge as they would normally. I often recommend not PMC'ing until you know the map well offline.
If you feel as though the entire lore of the game is undercut by this 5 day event, that's a shame. I don't think the majority of the player-base agrees, but feel how you will.

I hated the event when it started, mainly because I had no clue what was going on. After reading twitter/reddit etc and when they launched the /cash page, I finally understood. IMO its pretty fun to play differently, and its only a few days before it goes back to "normal".

When you're more PvE orientated, and despise Factory due to the hacker gamer epidemic on half the US servers, Jaeger is a bit of a bitch.
Skier's quests? Easy. Mechanic? They're all Gunsmith. Peacekeeper? I hate the UN, but the quests are easy.
But Jaeger, the most obscure and obnoxious requests, and half of the trader's other quests give rep penalties for him.

fragmentation or you hit 2 parts, for example if youre shooting center mass, you might hit his arms and then pen and hit his chest, which counts for 2 hits in 1 shot

Yeah, I've got like three different ways to clear it memorized, good scav farming spot imo, often agros the scavs from the shturman spawn too, so extra kills

Another good scav farming spot on woods is the logging shack near the scav house. can get between 3-5 scavs there there is usually 2 there then you will get some coming from the scav house and from teh direction of zb-014

I generally try to avoid camping an area after I've just had a firefight because it attracts players and I prefer to keep the initiative when it comes to that, maybe if you set up a trap, but otherwise, big no-no for me

absolutely. on the logging camp if you kill the 2 there go in and check and see what weapons parts are on the table by the time you are coming out there will move scavs moving in towards you
