Also if you repaired faceshield and didnt buy a new fresh one before you were there that might also be the cause. as its % effectiveness rdamage reduction lowers per % of max durability of the stock version of it

so even if its repaired to like 27/27 thats only half as effective as a 50/50, because it counts as 27/50. hence why a 60/60 t4 armor could be more effective than a 20/60 t5 armor, .
The chance of ammo effectiveness level 2 penetrating is not high, about 10% chance, but it can happen. M855 can definetly oneshot just it isn't reliable

reserve is a bit tricky with a map, but there are alot of drawers down in the tunnel

you could do that also as a scav ... the exits are more convenient for scavs on reserve

shotguns are absolutely trash in this game in my opinion. Chokes barely increase accuracy and it's frustrating. The only way to get sorta accurate with them is to use 6.5 express.

Combined with the fact if you're going for limbs with 6.5, it takes 15 shots to a single leg and 21 shots to an arm to kill someone. Fucking stupid damage model

Shotguns IRL are meant for shooting people in the crotch and legs, but this game has no crotch hitbox so you're better off just using something that can pen armor, since the only way to kill anyone in this freaking game is to get the thorax to 0 health
