I got 25-35 fps with major stuttering when I first started playing on a mac. Now I get 40-55 without much stuttering.

@teal grail if you were actually asking about the GL, for ~25m the MBUS works just fine. anywhere after that you need collimator optics, preferably mounted on top of a Bravo to prevent the barrel from blocking the view.
However, thanks to the new bug that BSG created a week ago, you can no longer use zeroing on the GL. The only way to get around the bug is to modify the weapon while it is currently in your hands. For example, folding/unfolding the stock fixes it and you can zero it again.

but you'll have to do that shit again once you take it off your hands for a split second - manning the NSV, medding, stims, using a different weapon for a second, etc
