@vague solar Depends on what you want, the cottages and subsequent buildinds in that area are good for Key, some smaller quest items and hideout stuff. If you want to risk a little, go to the back of the resort in the middle. The upstairs in the Cinema building has a lot of PC's and storage rooms to work with. And if you REALLY wanna play the risk game, go through both wings of the resort and see if anyone left any goodies around

i think you have to check what servers you're connecting with
you can do that in your launcher
since i was playing with a buddy from west US, i connected to his server and had a ping above 170
that gave me a dc at the very beginning, so we ran through and tried to get to extract asap
after that, he changed the servers to a couple US servers that i had a ping max 120
with that it worked

there is usually no issues with choosing a couple servers from other timezones, even if the ping is like 100
it comes handy when you play at times, where your timezone is dead
so it kinda searches for an active server
i usually see that when i play US-heavy timezones, it very often connects me to US servers

"bandwith, network configuration, OS, drivers for sound/network, program location, application related connections/usage, overlays for programs/games, third party hardware (for example keyboard that has integrated display/sound), stuff like that 🙂
or sometimes super simple just wrong setting in discord itself 🙂
at the end, most ppl install discord (myself included) and usually don't change any more things, then necessary to be able to talk and listen to others 🙂 so there areusually more settings, then you know from just going into the settings menu once for the initial setup probably weeks, months or even years ago 🙂

Why are PMC runs so much more deadly for me? I just started and have like 20 hours so very new but I can easily escape 8/10 times as scav and 0/10 as PMC. What do I do as a PMC to stay alive?

PMC is about map knowledge, Scav runs are easier as most of the PMC's have already gone.
If you know where you spawn and where everyone else spawns, and also what is near each spawn, you can get an idea of what to do and where to go in a map that'll increase your surivival rate

idk I just played a PMC where I knew for sure where my opponent was, looked for him and stepped into a building thinking I was safe when he threw 3 nades, didn't kill me, and then rushed and a shotgun to the head point blank did nothing lol

Not so much slower but smarter, if you knew he was going to be around that area you find a decent spot and hole up for a little longer. Solo plays are about patience until you are good eough to know the routes in and around to get your opponents. Sprinting in the open, and then slow and steady through the woods so to speak.
Make sure you stop often in safe spots and just wait 10-15 seconds to try and see if you can hear anything, this can be a big changer as well

Unless you're running something like AP-20 to try to pen something, or fletche or magnum to focus legs you should let them go. No point in taking a battle you know you'll lose.

Yep, it's about choosing your battles. I play as a Duo and we run with the usual meta stuff but even we know to back off and wait five minutes if we cannot ensure we'll win a fight

They rely on sound, if they don't hear you coming then they won't know. The other thing is knowing where they'll be, if it's dorms they group within a floor of each other, if it's new gas then they are all over the place (Best to come in from the Checkpoints side) and if they are in the new area, well, they'll either be glitched on the stairs or upstairs. If they are upstairs it's best to make noise to draw them down and kill them on the way down the stairs
