as PMC it's especially easy ... if you spawn garage site, you run over the bridge, then you can head along the street, as nobody watches that at that time, then before the bridge you head to the right and go direction new area, but you stay as far left as possible. Then you reach the tracks that are the ones that connect to the train bridge ... you can jump over the wall and then you're directly next to the first factory building and avoided old gas completely ... and then you can search everything there as nobody from garage spawn is there, player scavs might not be spawned and with some luck all PMC's already headed to woods or old gas for the new area

Anything from the flea will lose it's FIR when you purchase it. You might be able to have a buddy drop you a FIR g card in a match though (not 100% sure it works, haven't tried it myself)

Anyone having issues on factory USA Servers? Me and friend every time we go factory, its been 4 different raids and we get high ping and get connection lost within 20 seconds. @amber patrol from my experience thats not invisible raiders, but more likely dsync from your client, therefor the server has your correct information, but you don't have the correct information about other objects, so ppl see you walking through the server and can shoot you, whilst you might see ppl walking on the same spot. Therefor best is to fast get into cover or a safe spot and close/open the client reconnect. Then your client should have up to date information

depends on the map

it will always be a mixed bag but interchange night loot n scoots are decent pay offs with low risk and reserve night is good if you avoid boss scav areas, black knight and marked rooms

unless you are rushing marked and have an escape plan

#

many windows on reserve can be jumped out of for a quick escape and can lead to unexpected flanks on over confident late game players but always running is better than loosing everything unless you have nothing to loose @hexed wind

besides unless i really use the ammo charts that are all over the internet ... i still have tons of problems myself to know which ammo is the best ... i use BT all the time, then suddenly someone comes and says "it's totally shit", then i use BP, then someone else comes and says BP is shit, then BS is not the best choice for that ... 😄

well customs might seem like choke points, but you have to see it from a bigger picture ... 2 sites of spawn ... and one site needs to head to the other side ... there are 3 "main" routes ... woods/dorms, street/construction, the new area ...

well yes, if you are experienced enough to kill raiders as scav, you can go on reserve as the chance is higher to meet one, but same goes for customs

#

you have guards and reshala

#

but if you're new and have trouble to get into the "how do i easily make money from all kinds of maps" then your focus is usually not killing raiders/guards as even with alot of experience, you most often die if you engage them

plus ... for customs for example. There are 3 possible locations (4 if you count dorms 2 and dorms 3 as seperate locations). If you're a scav and you know where you spawn and where your exit is, you don't really wanna check out dorms, new gas and new area ... as by doing that, you will most certainly meet other players

the PP-SH and the adar are good ways to kill them ... and even them you need to know what you're doing ... as you cannot tank them if they get a lucky shot 😄

i mean i've seen lvl5/6 teams get killed by them ... so your scav is certainly not the one that is supposed to take on a full guards/raider-team ... even though i occasionally manage to do that ... which is big payday at that point 🙂

shoreline is a very ... special map for scavs ... the village is nice but you have to have luck, no other scav has the same idea ... ressort is more for "hopefully all PMC#s are gone, had a big fight, and forgot to loot" ... and the shoreline area is not the big loot area

in fact you always want to know where they are ... the moment you have to search for them, as someone is missing, in the open area, is almost a death sentence for your scav

dorms is the only area where even if you don't know all locations, you can still win ... as they sometimes stay in different rooms

you just have to oppress them with bullets the moment you look into the room ...

thatswhy the best chance on customs is, if the timer is around 10min left, you have a weapon, the position and you know where the guards are ... thats the best chance ... and even with all that planning and optimism, there is still the chance, someone of the guards hit you first .... so scav --> raiders/guards ... can be awesome ... but can be also over quick

and sometimes regular scavs mix in as well, which makes it more frustrating, because whilst normal guards and reshala stick together, the moment you hit one of the other scavs, every scav in that area suddenly has an urge to kill you

#

and you def kill everything once you started shooting just one of them ...

which brings me back to the point, why bring gear into a raid, if your death was before GL just high chance, now is basically certain, if someone sees you somewhere, they shoot a GL nade and poof gone ... you can hide, run, jump, it won't matter as they don't even have to see you, they can just spawm an insta-poof thing into your direction

The mosin is a real world weapon and is a very large round, it would do way more damage even if you were wearing armor to withstand the hit. You would have broken ribs and ruptured organs

we can discuss for the next hours ... fact is the GL is not supposed to be a thing in this game ... it takes every hope to survive a combat situation, as the GL is basically an instant-killer, that doesn't need aiming at all ... just a sort of direction and you're dead ... yes ppl sometimes get lucky shots with every weapon, but thats not a 100% thing ... GL means if someone that has it, sees you, there is no escape from it
