If you are "poor" and dont have any problem with doing the same thing for 7 m~ in order to gain 50K then yes.
Otherwise, sell it, this is a key for rat and only for rat, you can gain way more money and XP by killing people but the key is safer, you usualy dont see anyone else trying to loot the cash or bothering you.
Also, if you need XP, dont use this strat, you will gain almost 0 XP in a key run. (Register dont give you any)

After doing research into ammo and penetration, I've figured out the conversion scale between the IRL Russian GOST standards and Tarkov armor levels.

The Zhuk and 6B43 armors, which are based on level 6A armor vests, perform similarly to level 5 armor in-game. This is why it's so profitable to camp and snipe: because you can 1-shot (headshot) fully geared players with a 20,000 ₽ mosin and 250 ₽ of SNB.

M995 and 7n39 are both tungsten carbide cored ammo as well, but they are not sniper cartridges, and wont penetrate to the same degree as 7n37

It's not that difficult to change config values though. The devs could easily adjust the penetration values, push an update, and say "realism, deal with it." They seem to care more about realism than the playerbase (which is fine), so I don't think they'd care about the community backlash.

Second issue: pump shotguns fire too slowly. Jerry Miculek, the fastest shooter in the world, can fire a 12 gauge pump shotgun 3 times/second. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a former USEC operator to be able to pump a shotgun in the range of 2-3 times/second. Buffing pump speed would make it so that the M870 and MP133 would be viable compared to the semi-autos.

This is also true of bolt action weapons, but to a lesser extent, as experienced shooters can generally fire bolt-action rifles up to 1.5 times/second, but this requires a lot of dexterity

i cannot stress enough that i was just shooting at the 2nd target, first metal and that the flechettes hit the entire target, so presumably a few missed

but the clincher here is that flechettes STILL arent good, because you need to in the IDEAL scenario where you hit ALL of your flechettes for 4-5 blasts in a row to kill someone with level 4 or 5 armor

#

you're just not going to get that many shots in, ever. you'll kill people that you would have killed with a pistol anyway and you won't kill people that you could have killed with a pistol

#

and if you miss like 20% of your flechettes or some hit their arms instead of their chest, you have to get an entire extra blast in

#

and then for the final blast you have to hit 50% of your flechettes in their thorax, it just doesnt add up

It's not glitched really. Only some weapons have issue with bullet drop on iron sights/red dots and those are weapons that have slow muzzle velocity

Use what is comfortable, it is purely preference. You can easily adjust to 75 FOV, just test your gun/sight combo in hideout until you know which ones work and which ones don't. I use 63 fov personally.
