In my understanding, you can only get banned from this discord if the TK happened in one of chat rooms here, and that has no effect in-game.

@lusty harbor and everyone else saying just buy more servers: I believe many of you encounter backend issues lately (login issues, disconnects, error 200, 1000, 500 etc.). And many of you just saying - "just buy more servers". Right now backend server infrastructure consists around 150 servers and this number is rising constantly. Unfortunately you can't solve some critical bugs or infrastructure problems only with server number increase. Many issues popping up only with high load testing - which is going on right now. As it was said before - player numbers are rising fast, load is rising and the chances of critical malfunctions are also rising. So, that's what we are doing right now 24/7 - we receive a failure - patch it, receive new - patch it and so on. We are refining the system.

So, just to summarize:

yes, we know about every issue with servers (we are monitoring situation 24/7)

we are actively working on modifying current backend infrastructure LIVE (it also could lead to game failures unfortunately)

it's not caused by DDOS or any other attack (although it happens on top of everything sometimes too)

it's not caused by hardware problems right now (although it happens on top of everything too)

Stabilizing backend is the most prioritized task and it looks like full scale investigation within the backend/client system

Adding new game servers is also prioritized task (added x2 servers already from the start of this year)

We are deeply sorry about this issues and doing everything we can to make everything stable ASAP!

@cunning canopy It will take a while as the game has to reset the status of each account. It will take anywhere from 5-20 minutes generally. Some people get lucky in which their account gets reset first. In any case, it ends up being a matter of luck and patience.

Gotta unlock Jeager as a dealer first as well before you can start his questline.

think about it this way, when the game is working fine; keyword "when", i could honestly say, this is the best game, and there's nothing like it. but when it's not, i know that this is still a BETA and that they're a small company.

@outer tapir ok, so here's what you can do and what no 1 wil probably tell you. exit out of the game. get to the launcher and go to server selection. select all the servers you want to play on, and don't click on anything for like 5 mins

when the server times outs, it will uncheck it for you, and you can play on the servers without disconnections.

although that does seem like a bit of witchcraft, it's a datacenter, not a single server + you're instanced as the game starts (otherwise you wouldn't be able to play with friends without syncing servers)

best thing to do is to just act as if everyone is a player and either scuttle or attack aggressively

@river oyster I think one of the youtubers did a test and it turned out to be at least a pistol and a rig IIRC. I can see the same mod or a dev being like "ah I see error, I fix fast because funny"

Is there any way I can tell how far from Kappa I have left? Like how many quests and which ones are outstanding?

Erm, there isn't a counter as far as i know. But from what i last heard, There are about 213 or so Tasks you have to complete in order to obtain the task for the Kappa container from Fence. @neon atlas

If you want to check, there is a picture of most of the quests from each traders on the wiki minus Jeagers quests.

How exactly does armour work with armour points? like for eg the 6b3tm-01m armoured rig that protects thorax and stomach has 40 armour points does this mean that any round with pen or damage higher than 40 will 1 tap you?

Armor and Penetration
Armor provides protection to entire body parts even if it doesn't look like it covers them. You can see what parts of the body are protected when you inspect the armor.

When a bullet hits an armored body part, it either stops the bullet completely or the bullet penetrates the armor and does damage to the player. If a bullet is stopped by the armor, a % of the bullet's damage is dealt to that body part, known as "blunt damage", the % is based on the armor's class and remaining durability, and the penetration value of the bullet. Blunt damage is rarely more than a few hp. The penetration chance is dependent on the armor's level and remaining durability %, and the ammo's penetration value. Ledx can spawn in Reserves in the medical room, or so i have seen said from a Moderator. Aside from that, Labs is the most common (still rare) spawn for them i suppose.

@wooden grail The factory zone (Far East side of the map next to Scav Checkpoint) and the Customs/Big Red Zone are fairly good scav points.

killing scavs is the checkpoint beside the river on the west end, i believe it's called ruaf, and the eastern checkpoing area that's at the the end of the road. sometimes big red too.

The easiest way to beat the quest is either super speed run to extract by passing these and shooting on your way through or stay in a raid 15 mins just afk somewhere and wait for the 2nd scav wave to spawn and hunt them
