im so evil.... after 30 min in customs as a scav i found only a p90 and a few other things of value. I get to my extract and lay in the grass as i watch the 5 min timer tick down. I take a knee, see a player coming my way. I pop a shot at him with my mosin, which is now out of ammo.... so I lay in the grass with the p90 and he comes right at me.. doubled my loot 😄

Their servers were set up for 30k they're getting consistent 110-150k. Everyone who bitches about how they should just "fix it" blatantly shows they know nothing about servers. It isn't just "buy more lul" they have to find companies that 1. have servers available, which is harder than you'd think, 2. can support the load of Tarkov, harder than you think, 3. negotiate prices, 4. actually setup these servers for the game, and 5. completely overhaul backend system to support this immense player count

The Bitcoin farm is a good goal but it will be a LONG time before you get to it and make money back on it.

Focus on tasks and leveling traders. Avoid buying gear from the flea market unless it is hard to obtain.

@dusty lion noise is everything. Stay as quiet as you can and always listen. Stop and listen for a minute before going in. Stop and listen constantly once inside. Know what you are going in there for, get in, and get out. If you hang out you WILL get in a fight. Once you're in a fight either know your way out or know where you can make a stand. If you are out numbered and know it, avoid the fight unless you have frags.

Yeah, it takes time to learn what may be a trap and what isn't. Gear doesnt mean invulnerable, it just means a scav isnt as scary. A naked player could have a bolt gun and drop you in full gear. Never assume your gear will keep you alive.

@dusty estuary watch the dev stream from the other day and you’ll realize what problems they’re facing. Player base has tripled in a month. they NEVER expected for this many players and to be honest they didn’t seem too excited about it. they said it’s a niche game not meant for everyone.

Exactly alot of aaa titles take the same time to be developed but just aren't known about outside the company and aren't beta tested until they're nearly done also marsebal the servers weren't broken until the twitch drops which im assuming is where you came from because you act like 75% of the people that came from the twitch event

Now holy shit is that so wrong in this sense. Should they then buy enough servers and maintenance to provide for the 7bill+ population? we arent talking about a 20% player base increase but a 300% increase from a player base built over 3 -4 years to triple in a month or two
