People just be salty that they have to wait for the devs to take their time and work on the game. 90% of the Tarkov fandom doesnt understand how to make games, nor do they understand the process the game developers have to go through to make their games work or to keep them balanced. They needed to reset things otherwise you'd have max level people sprinting forever and then low level people running 2 feet and stopping. It would be blatantly unbalanced.
To be fair tho, this shouldn't affect you to where a new player is handicapped vs a top leveled player. Makes it unfair to a large extent, IF this is how severe the difference is.

ok @sinful wraith new palyers are going to be at a disadvantage this late into a wipe no matter what,m my point is that by them resetting part of the skills helps them be on even ground in terms of those skills. the game isnt supposed to be fair to people who are jsut starting vs people who have sunk hundreds of hours. also the hackers, or at least the oens looting living players have been addressed, and i play mainly labs along with a few other maps and i encounter very few ahckers. it sucks, but hackers are a part of every game and there is hysteria about the nuimbers

be reasonable. 4 years to not have net code and server stability is frankly pretty bad. WOuld you use netflix after 4 years if every video buffered or you were locked out of your account? Would you use your bank, or trust them, if you were losing money b/c the servers went down mid deposit?
Frustrations with stability is valid. 4 years of testing is plenty for network code, even with ~20 devs.

guys lets really focus on the big problem here, No one will make MONEY now because of the weight system. Example pay a key card for labs cos = 130 000 roubles, then kill 1 bot, take his vest and weapon and you already overweight. which means you cannot run, jump or quick play, which means you cant carry any loot which means that u lost money because you paid for a key card that worth more than the actual loot you can bring now!!!!!! this weight system sucks. here in polish army you have armor that weighs around 12kg + 4kg as mags and ammo in them that is already 16 kg
the you have a gun which is 3.8kg or 3.5kg
and then there are things in your backpack like
second uniform
ammo
batteries for radio
food
another set of boots
sleeping bag
some other shit and it all weighs around 30 kg
so you run with about 50 kg and this PMC which is supposed to be ex military is not able to do it

and trust me with mosin or hunter game is easy. just practise maps on offline or scav and when you think you are familliar with them play slowly on online and avoid high traffic areas

in general you will get something like 2-10 k xp from a raid

#

and with quest you will get additional 500 - 20k xp depending on quest

#

if you are trying to get xp form kill then farm either shturman or reshala. both give you about 5k -7k xp and if you die you will get smth like 3k

#

biggest kill xp is form raiders but getting 150k for a keycard and surviving there will be hard for new player so i would advise against that
