reminds me of a project I used to work on. Me and some guys got fed up with csgo and lack of updates and how boring the gunplay now is so we tried to make a more tactical shooter built off the same engine. It is called project parabellum.
I was the only guy able to script into csgo on the team and new the engine well. Couple of weeks into it we lost traction and tbh I just could not care enough as people were very unwilling to take matters head on. Surprisingly it is still being worked on.
