Generally when you update a bios, you download the actual update to your computer and extract it to a completely blank USB after it’s been wiped, restart your computer and enter your bios, then find the tab to update it, select the USB, and then let it go through the update

Hmm. You see 2.6k is the default speed that your motherboard will run RAM at usually. Enabling XMP will then allow the ram to reach its max speed if the motherboard can.

So I’ve done a bit of reading, apparently there’s a power limit in the Mobo that doesn’t allow XMP to run, basically a power cap to the RAM.

Sounds like the issue you have. Somethings stopping XMP from having any effect on your RAM speed. Check your BIOS and see if there’s any updates

i started last year in October and now have over 1400 hours. first 600hours were in the first 3 months of owning the game.
check ( eft ammo . com )every time you have to load ammo for a raid until you remember what to use. always go for the lowest on the list for each cartridge. high penetration is always what you want unless you're not planning on shooting center mass, in which case go for the highest flesh damage round. its usually a 1-1 trade off for damage vs penetration. i high pen round wont do as much damage to flesh/depleted armor as a flesh round like rip rounds or hp (hollow point).
when building guns, use edit preset after level 15 to better mod your gun. use stats to aim for high ergo(quick aiming) and/or low recoil.
Note: recoil is a percentage change. i.e. a foregrip with -4 recoil would reduce recoil by 4%. this is not the case for ergo. ergonomics is more of a scale rather than a percentage. (goes above 100 and below 0)
Do not try to copy streamers tricks until you can play the game without assistance. map knowledge and good audio are really important.
focus on map knowledge and weapon building/using before wipe. don't care about dying. you're going to die a lot.
