@marsh harbor Figure out a budget that you feel comfortable running. Then make your loadout accordingly. Ammo is often a lot more important than the weapon, so if you can't afford good ammo for the UMP you might want to consider something else.

I'm level one (now lvl 2) got my first kill on a lvl 68 bear pmc and a player scav after fighting for my life and grabbing the small amount of loot that I could I ran to old gas station on customs

Went next to the green flare and it still had 15mins left in match BUT would not extract me.

So I thought ok maybe I have to wait till the timer hit 0

So I hid in a bush and camp the train tracks.
Timer hit 30seconds so I went back. To the flare

Timer hit 0 then extracted me BUT it said I went MIA and lost all my gear (of course I forgot to insure them because it was my very first hour on the game)
