Its too convoluted because it takes into account the bullet speed, bullet something coeficient and this varies from gun to gun because different guns are zeroed to different rounds so tbh just dont bother

The problem with zeroing is that scopes will zero on the base round for the gun. For most guns that is okay as the different rounds are similar in terms of speed and drop. For some however there's a big difference and the zeroing will be off if you use different rounds.
