the place refered to on factory is actually one of the more meh ones, besides being in the middle of what is basically a pvp arena, making it a tad hard to get and extract unharmed

or, as "he died to an extract camper" mentioned, you can craft it on workbench 1, which is how I completed that first mission because whenever I found one, I could never get it out, it was always on a "certain death" run

Yea it's a hard map but by far the fastest way for gas analyzers. You'll need 3 in total, the followup quest requires you to get 2 more

If you get one of the close spawns for the dropdown room you can loot it very quickly

Just play normally and you will get the quest eventually. But if you wanna bruteforce it you can dehydrate yourself (eat mayo or 2x condensated milk) or break an arm

It does take a while for pain to kick in tho so premed and hope they dont rush your spawn

the trick for dorms if you're still in a weak state is to wait for the major traffic to clear through it, just content yourself looting and killing scavs around the map for a while (10 minutes or around that) until all the fighting at dorms stop and then it's safer™️
