Thats largely because thr movement system in tsrkov has a disconnect from the surface a player is moving on. You don't get any tells on if a target is going to change direction or not.
As far as calculating lead , bullets don't slow down enough to matter in tarkov so you can effectively treat them as constant velocity.
Since they are constant velocity , once you figure out one lead , youve figured out lead for all ranges more or less angular wise.

Zero or zeroing is where your point of aim (cross hair , dot, iron sight ) and point of impact ( where the bullet lands) match.
In this instance , we are referencing the ammunition each rifle is zerod for because tarkovs has diffent velocities for projectiles for the same gun. This causes a shift along the Y axis compared to where you're aiming
Tarkov treats all zeros as far zeros ^
