EG start with labs cause that shit hard anyway, move onto factory cause the map is small and it's hard not to come across players

and then move onto the more open maps, and just avoid hotspots and stashes and stuff

IMO, best thing you can do if you want to learn a map is to get in offline mode, turn off scavs, and just walk

seriously, you don't need to prove anything to anyone at first, it's better to just spend the time and learn properly, will save you a lot of time and money in the long run because you didn't wander aimlessly trying to figure out where you had to go
