You can memorise the map it's not that hard, at least a few extracts are easy to learn.

most maps only have 2 extractions, learn which ones are your active extraction based on the side of the map you spawn on.
for example. if you spawn on west side of woods its the roadblock on east
if u spawn east it is outskirts
some extractions require you to have a scav with you as a PMC. or vise versa. they make no sense and are a waste so just skip those

Hot take, shoreline is best map for (consistent) money making, reserve you pretty much have a chance of dying the entire time, interchange if you don't get to tech spawns first, it's iffy, Shoreline has enough loot spacing to smash and dash or choose to pvp depending on your feelings that day

also make sure to always have an ingame headset as it will allow you to hear people from much longer distance

i've had good luck from the big tool crate in the building that is bottom right of most customs maps (building closest to the factory far corner extract, the one with an upstairs area with a couple jackets, a weapons crate, 2 pcs and 2 tool boxes, but there's a large wooden tool crate in a fenced off area in the corner of the main floor)

Hey guys, not sure if this is the right place for this but I'm struggling a lot with combat. Finished a few missions purely by sneaking to objective then to extract. Had the best customs run yesterday with 4 scav kills and decent loot. Today I've lost all my weapons and armor getting tilted, I'm out of cash... The worst part is I lost my M4 by accidentally selecting night 😦 Anyone have any tactics tips? I've watched hours of videos and still cant get it...

I would say the best way is just by playing, you can watch a lot of videos and its gonna get you somewhere, but you will have to adapt to whatever playstyle you feel most comfortable doing. What i would suggest is do scav runs as much as you can, and when you get the chance search for fights to try and get some experience, rotating doing fights and make it so you never stay in one place for too long.

if u make sure not to repeak scavs u will already gain a big advantage, as they will reset and take time to lock back on to you, often doing a voiceline

If you are having trouble with scavs, you can always do offline raids with horde mode and whatever difficulty you feel like, and learn there "combat" patterns through that

Depending on what weapons you are using, Prapor does have a scope you can put on most AK's
