Its a slow burn, but multiple raids are better than 1, the more frequently you use any skill the more diminishing the returns are

This is totally personal opinion, so take it with salt, but I usually sell almost every tac-vest, armor, and helmet pre-10. Unless I find some good shit in a raid it's usually taking up extra unneeded space. I'll keep Scav-pack sized backpacks, and sell the rest, then just buy a sling from Ragman if I need something simple to into raid with

Make sure to walk everywhere and play slow, have a goal when you go in, IE quests, kills on pmc's or looting

I've found customs is garbage for new players since everyone rushes neighboring spawn points and you have no idea where they are coming from since you haven't photo memorized every spawn point like everyone else in this game
not sure why it is highly suggested outside of it holding so many early missions

honestly I have the same question. every new map I've tried either has frequent spawn rushes, scope advantage, or a ton of buildings that you need to memorize every default door position and loot spawn in order to know if another player has cleared a section of the building
or worse, janky jump spots that give peeks you wouldn't expect or can't get to cause lowskills, or special exit camping bits

On customs you'll run into good players in Dorms especially, as there's a LOT of juicy loot there. For reference, we opened one of the rooms there and looted a 800k weapon

@tranquil anchor offline for learning mechanics and maps on your PMC, then you can use your Scav runs for risk-free attempts at loot... but note the Scav and PMC are separate progress, so you don't want to overuse Scav - alternating is a good strategy, run Scav and then PMC - once you have a decent amount of rubles you can just run PMC all the time

that works and lets you chose the part to heal which is useful. You can also hot key heals to use fast in raid if tyhey are in your rig or pockets and it is supposed to auto select the worst limb.

Can anyone explain this to me? Why does your compass show north differently if use open it when using a pistol compared to using a rifle when North should be north. Its about 16 degrees different between the two. Also why is pistol ADS much slower than the rifle ADS. I'm comparing an ak with the glock and I'm getting about 45 degree less when I spin in a circle then seeing where the compass lands.
