@shrewd talon I can't see your shots fired but going by your limbs lost, k/d, and kia raids I'd assume some bad aim was involved. Possibly a lack of situational awareness due to looting exp being higher then killing exp... I would use a task and hideout list and everything not needed for those I would sell. I print both and cross stuff off them when I have it store and then use it when I need it. Everything else gets sold off.

Best thing to do would be go looking for game and join a 5 man squad factory. Factory has a max of 5 player that can join. Kill some scav get their loot and extract and do it all over again. But you need always 5 people. Also, you can start naked and have someone kill a scav so you can get a weapon.

Also max of 5 players mean that 5 pmc. If you do a 5 man squad then you take all those spot and don’t need to worry about running into a players. This however does not include player scav that spawn around 15 mins

Yo, how long does it usually take until a complete beginner starts getting the hang of the game? I have about 45 hours in the game, I usually am able to finish a raid as a scav (especially if I spawn in late), but as soon as I go into a raid as my pmc, I die within 10 minutes, no matter what. I know I'm probably all thumbs, but the disparity between scav and pmc runs feels rather odd

I am a fan of shoreline, it's the same as customs i.e. one big hotspot, a couple of smaller quieter loot locations, and the rest is free for noobs to get easy loot

ive been a beginner for 2 years (i dont play super often, ive just owned the game for a while) because i am pretty bad at the game but never really tried to like, be super good, but one thing ive always noticed about my play is whenever i come on to do a practice raid on offline mode i always seem to do really really well in them. but once i throw myself into an online raid i always seem to do pretty bad, maybe Im just making it hard for myself early but I just finished an offline raid and came out of it with like 7 or 8 kills and i wish i just had that performance in a real raid, yknow? whenever I'm in one I just throw them really hard, and I just wish i can break that shit

I have been in here before asking the same thing but i cant figure it out so here it goes again. A couple months ago i started having stutters consistently every raid and now it has become so bad that the game has become unplayable for me. I have tried everything, settings, post fx, custom resolution, nvidia settings, i even wiped my computer and did a fresh install of everything but nothing works. what you can do is copy the files from whatever directory you have the game now, I think you'll want to open the Battlestate Games folder and copy EFT and put them in wherever you want the game to be in your C Drive

I occasionally get error messages when updating. I hit 'skip' if the option is available. then after the update goes through its cycle, it will prompt you to 'repair' or 'fix' and I go through the pain in the ass process that way. i dunno why but it works for me

@odd jay Having someone in raid with you doesn't make you automatically better. Developing your own talents and working on your weaknesses does.
Another PMC in raid with you is just 1 less enemy and possibly you relying on them to make progress.

Sherpa are more likely to help you work on your self then carry you through raids 1 on 1.
