depends how you use it. It can be useful so long as you have the ammo for it like AP 6.3 or 7n31. Although, your chances of getting into close range fights is pretty small unless you're hiding somewhere and waiting for a chance to strike. For instance I took a guy down with a 1911 trying to look for marked room. He could've shut me down with a grenade but instead for some reason he decided to push me with a full auto m4. It didn't end well for him.

Usually you're screwed. That thing lasts for 20 seconds. Nothing you can do about it except shoot randomly or maintain distance.

To be honest, interchange is, imo a harder map to play, it's dark, has a lot of stores, lots of dark corners and so on. It isn't a map for beginners if I am honest. It's good to scav on as a beginner though. I'd say customs, it's all pretty much open, there are a few houses and stuff. Or Reserve, but you can only escape 1 way as PMC on Reserve :/

If your sqaud starts across the river and you spawn late after they have already crossed, you will have different extracts. About the only time I have ever seen issues with it
