@upper prism prapor level 2 to buy op sks you can put suppressors at what ever gun takes them you just have to find the right one or find the mount for it not all suppressors and mounts work on every gun. weapon bench/workbench just makes modding your guns much easier and organized would definitely recommend for new player just search up how to use them then you can search up weapon builds

@subtle dome Trying to solo factory as a new player and getting out alive will leave you bent and broken quickly. All ground stashes spawn the 3M armors now, so any map that contains these are worth it. You'll make money alongside your quest - Pop scavs you see along the way and find a map of stashes for whatever map youre playing, plan a route and get busy
Alternatively you can find a 5 man squad for factory and that way you wont have any players trying to murder you. Easy way to farm the scavs there & the spawn in the office

For scopes, I'd recommend either the valday or the Vudu - The valday has a shorter range and smaller field of view. Vudu is for the long range shorts but still gets the job done at short distances.

@wind harbor Cat figurine + B13 mount + valday scope - buy these from the flea market, then barter the cat through praper for a silenced budget ak - Rip off the dust cover and use it at as a single fire marksman rifle - the barter comes with a clip of bp's which is a good ammo, bring a couple spare mags and you're good to go.
All in all it should come out to less than 80k for the kit
From there you can go to shoreline & just farm the stashes that you spawn near. There's plenty of them if you look up a map. It's safe, it's chill, and its decent on the money side. It will bring you limited combat experience, and it can be dissapointing to get caught on your way out
I made it to the endgame just doing that. Eventually I got good at shoreline and I can brawl in the outskirts for fun now

Scav runs are your best friend when you are low level. Scav, do an offline raid with your pmc, then scav again. Keep doing this to get loot and learn maps. Then take the loot in with your pmc and do quests

Playing on a scav is a waste of PMC experience.
Even if you die within a minute with your PMC, you'll usually max out on endurance XP by the time you die.
Soft skills help immensely.

@spark birch best way is to fire on auto. The best way I have found to do this is to fire a full mag or two when I'm exiting on my PMC.

It is very important to level your recoil control. You should at least go through one mag of 30 rounds per raid for efficiency, preferably 3 mags, but you'll hit the point of diminishing returns hard after the first one.

At level 3, every point of XP is important in order to hit level 10 ASAP and unlock the Flea, the kit you get when you start should be sufficient for most players.
I'd even recommend not healing in the end-raid screen and manually heal your self with the starters grizzly, and when that runs out, cheese.
It gives you health XP and level XP.

If you spawn on side A you have crossroads as your extract 100% everytime it will be there
If you spawn on side B you have zb-011 as your extract everytime it will be there available
as a PMC
zb-013 is also always available for both sides but requires a factory key and is half way between both spawn 'areas'

@strong barn When did they fix the fact that you get xp for doing stuff out of raids? It's always been that metabolism and healing, while it shows that it gives xp, actually doesn't when you're not in an active raid
@summer blaze Try learning the shoreline map and stashes. Avoid the middle area of the map where the high tier loot is (resort). You can easily make 3-400k per successful raid if you hit up an average of 15 stashes and just get out
Shoreline itself has +40 stashes in the outskirts, so you're highly likely to just have a route that leads you by 10 of them while on the way to the exit. The challenge becomes dodging gunfights that you're not comfortable with. Embrace the Matrix and become Neo. Dodge bullets and leap buildings to get away from the agents
Or even better, treat the map as if you're at a friends house for a sleepover and you're actively trying not to wake anyone up while moving across the map
The big thing about Shoreline is that 70% of the lobby will go to the resort, and either die / stay there for 25 minutes. That leaves 4-5 players in the outskirts that you'll have to either murder or evade to get out alive.
I managed to survive for 22 raids in a row on shoreline just hitting up stashes and minding my own business. The streak ended because I ran face first into Sanitar.
I also got in to a couple pvp skirmishes, had raids where i ran out of meds and had to just bolt it for the exit. Its a good map for learning a variety of survival skills

but it get's harder to lvl as your level goes up, as each thing takes longer to be used. Blue fuel is at 42 hours use time for me lol

As in if you spray 190 rounds in a raid you reach 'diminishing returns' on the recoil control skill until you leave the raid and start another one to avoid cheesing
IMO its better to rotate two cheap shitty items for crafting so you always get max points per station instead of the same item repeatedly in the same station

The ones I would try to achieve the fastest are Therapist level 2 and level 3, because level 2 unlocks scav junkbox, a massive case for hoarding loose loot and dogtags, and level 3 therapist unlocks item cases that can be bought with Euros, which can be traded for from Skier. If you'd like some help, feel free to add me!

hi guys please help me, i went to interchange and i looted some stuff that was on the ground and stuff then i go to a secret stash in the ground i looted it then extracted, but now i cant sell it on the flea market because it says you cant sell items that were not found in raid??? i found all the stuff from interchange in raid wtf is going on

That would indeed be the problem, have to make sure you either survive 10+ Mins or get enough XP

Typically a scav kill is enough XP + looting experience.
Unless you are on a scav, then you can extract right away ands its still found in raid.

@neon hound The moonshine will get you the most expensive items in game, and it'll help get you some of the items for the Collector Task for Kappa... but You only make profit every 4th or 5th moonshine... you probably end up losing 10-20% of the money you put in... It's more for the fun of seeing what you get

what is the best way to learn a map and how long does it take?

i just played it over and over again, also running it as a scav. I always had the mapgenie up on my second monitor but i know thats not always available, so pulling it up on your phone or even printing it out will help you learn extracts and what not alongside the map. Other than that, im sure watching a streamer play can kind of help you understand points of interest because they usually go to gunfight-heavy places

@misty inlet if youve played bigger maps in other games before, then it shouldnt take a long time... what takes a bit of time is learning where/when/how you use certain extracts

A compass helps you get your bearings when you're starting out, but once you start recognizing landmarks, it's fairly pointless.

you can try to save btc, but you will 13 for weapon case and 35 for thicc weapon case

The trade is 13 for a weapon case. It's about 3.25 mil Vs 7ish on flea so if you want one of those and have a regular source of them you can save. At 800k I would be selling.
