Factory has the worst spawns in my opinion, like if you spawn glass hallway or in one of those red rooms, you either rush like a maniac or get pelted with a nade

If I spawn crossroads I probably take the boxes at the extract by the car, loot a couple things in the storage area, go big red if it's quiet, then cut across new location towards old gas, looting more/less depending on what I have

my point is that the area around you is 'yours' because you're unlikely to encounter enemies in the first 5 mins, so take the loot and don't rush into other people's spawn area, and you're fine in my experience

Best way to practice pvp is to memorize how your gun works, so find your favorite piece and study its recoil pattern and aim offset, turn up offline raid scav difficulties and fight bosses

like from level 1 traders? semi auto saiga-9 from skier might work, but it's kinda crap. Otherwise your best bet is sks(hits harder) or aksu(shoots faster).

Take a Propitol, condensed milk, bottle of water and I think a pack of crackers to a map you feel good extracting. Eat the condensed milk and crackers at spawn. Take the Propitol to keep your health up and hide 5 minutes. Then drink the water and make your way to extract. @hexed maple

@crimson timber You can find it but its pretty rare. Your best bet is either to barter the piece from mechanic for 2 HDDs or barter for the entire shotgun for some tools and then just put the grip on that.

Ah yeah my bad by grip I thought you meant the forestock. Youre correct the only way to find the pistol grip is in raid or to purchase it from another player off the flea market. It does have a chance to spawn anywhere weapon attachments can, but your best bet is to kill scavs that have MP133s, as they can have the pistol grip on their weapon.

i would recommend you look up some videos about interchange tbh. I used to play customs, now i hate customs because ive realized its tiny with a ton of chokepoints. I ran into geared out PMCs every raid. Now i switched to interchange and i haven't seen a single PMC, you just have to run the back area of the store and use a headset to avoid any PMCs you might hear somewhere nearby

all the fighting usually stays in the middle area of the store where killa is etc. but the back storage rooms hardly ever see any action from what i've seen so far and you can get some decent loot if you know where weapon crates are in that area, and the metal shelves can contain screwdrivers, hand drills and some other stuff. If you feel like that's not enough and feel a bit ballsy, there's an area on the very left of the store that contains some electronics but from what i hear its a bit more dangerous. \

@bold kernel not really, i've yet to meet a PMC outside the central areas of the store or the two massive stores on the sides. it boils down to knowing where not go to not get killed

and tbh i think it's much better than any other option out there. Reserve = complicated spawns and a lot of hot zones if you don't have the ice pick and paracord combo, Woods = god knows how many times i died to some camping sniper, the map is plagued. Customs = tiny, clamped map, you're bound to run into trouble. Shoreline i haven't tested yet, but i don't have good memories with it from back in the day ._. and of course the factory meat grinder, which is now full of KS23 with flash rounds. factory raids for newbies right now are pretty much rng.

honestly, the timers are so confusing. Could someone ELI5? I spawn in. 46 minutes on the timer, and the north barracks RB-VO room is already open and looted. Is that a latespawn? How do i tell if it's a latespawn? I thought the raids lasted 45 minutes but since there's 46 minutes left is it 60 minutes? Does that mean i've never got into a raid early?

get the workbench to at least lvl 1 then you can preview mods. You should be good now just start basic. Try to stick to dealer unlocked parts as much as possible because flea prices are poison. I like a basic red dot and a little recoil control for an AK.
