You need the right caliber, and some supressors need muzzle breaks/flash hiders to attach to. If you right click on your suppressor and do a linked search it may show you a flash hider that you need

so, I'm not new at the game nor a noob, but I'm not very good either. started around 1 week ago on this wipe and I was wondering what the fastest way to make money would be. my goal is to improve at pvp but for that I need decent loadouts which cost at least around 300k let's say, for locations like dorms, resort, reserve buildings etc. I know you can get profit by doing stashes on interchange/shoreline but maybe there s a fastest way someone knows

and make sure to hit those toolboxes on each map, screws and bolts are commonly bought, goes for 12k on the market usually

If you calculate it, finding 6 screws = 72k which can give you a pretty decent setup, especially if you survive your scav run and transfer items to pmc

You can only sell things that are Found in Raid on the flea market. To be found in raid it needs to have spawned in raid. Meaning not brought in by a PMC

#

In order for it to maintain the Found in Raid status, you have to extract successfully. If you die, or get "Run through", it'll lose found in raid status. @broken kayak

Basically. There are some barter trades and a task later but mostly it's just sell. Barters aren't really that good and the tasks aren't for too many and are a good bit later so no point in saving.

Doing quests, even if you're just suicide sprinting through the map can help. They net you loads of XP that you need early game, and unlocks modifications for your weapons that are dirt cheap.

You can play offline mode to get used to the AI, they're predictable and have a set pattern.

One of the most important rule is to never repeek the same angle when a scav locks onto you, that's a surefire way to get Head, Eyes'd.

@unborn burrow as someone else who is new to this game as of a few weeks ago, learn customs or interchange. Customs is generally recommended first, because a lot of your basic quests are there. Just because it's late in the raid, you can still hold your own with map knowledge or getting a drop on people. Run scavs all the time, it's a great way to learn the map and there's no risk involved. Some of your quest stuff can be picked up as a scav, like the mp-133s or the toz or the 3ms.
A common cheap load out is the sks, green helmet, paca armor, t bag and a bank robber. Take some spare rounds for it and just roll. Insure that gear because not a lot of people are actually going to take it,so you'll get it back.
On the note of scavs, they can see you through bushes and shrubs, so if you think one saw you, don't engage, back up, get a better line of site, and go from there.
Some streamers have done fresh account play throughs which is usually a great way to get some perspective on what to do.

and i would say 90% of the time the sks gets back to you, cus people dont take it. unless u die to a new player, they might take it

Hell I died one time because I loaded a twenty round internal sks magazine with the right ps ammo, and then grabbed the wrong fucking ps ammo for my rig. And also because I didn't realize there were two sets of stairs in the stronghold on Customs.

There's usually a lot of conflicting information since a bit is personal preference, but at a minimum, basically always run your scav, because it's free as hell. Even if you die you probably learned something.
People will tell you different things about armor, but I'm pretty certain as a new player, paca is good because it'll keep you from getting straight scav owned. I really didn't fuck with ears for the first few levels because money.

A small amount of gear fear is very valid imo. Especially early, but again, with baby kit of sks paca Bank robber and helmet, you almost always get those back through insurance

Gear fear is the worst thing you can develop and you should constantly be trying to have less gear fear. Landmark for example has done a very good job of that and in return is the best tarkov player.
