Theres a lot of different ways to play this game, but the way I play it is to go Solid Snake and sneak around trying to avoid conflict.

That kinda playstyle makes you be known as a rat.

There's no need for a fix. First of all the new meds spawns frequently in multiple locations, and they're not expensive so often not looted by pmcs.
And scav runs are far from "dead". You still have all the benefits associated

Any idea why my loading screen is insanely laggy? It literally freezes and comes back many seconds later (anywhere from 5 to 15)

Zeroing depends on ammo.
Only one of them the gun is actually zeroed for, all others are faster/slower/other reason and go higher/lower than the scope shows

for pistol runs, i would not run it unless u got ss190 ammo. and even then if u cant surprise them and one tap their head, its no use

The biggest give aways are typically clothes. Scavs tend to wear incredibly obvious civilian clothes. Weirs sports jackets, blue jeans, raggity pants, etc. PMCs are typically wearing some kind of military fatigues, sometimes with knee pads, holsters, etc
