Also @full elk play some offline raids and explore, you'll understand the map more and find places to loot for actual raids, you don't lose anything on offline raids too so you can put bots on and practice firefights as well

@short star Honestly unless i am putting on an altyn I just use the level 1 replica helmet for bouncing off junk rounds. If you really want you can use the green one that is level 3 for the ricochet chance. In my experience, only the altyn has ever saved me and it isn't cheap.

sell them, they're fairly common on reserve in the bunkers. I believe you only need it for textiles part 1, which will give you a lvl 48 outfit. Not neede for kappa

LFG is typically mid tier to high tier (or people who think they are mid/high tier) players playing together. From what I have seen they typically take people who are questing on a ride around the entire map (including pvp areas) because that is what THEY want to do there.

@cyan steeple I don't really have tips for actually killing the scavs, but you have to be playing as a PMC. Try to go for headshots, and the gas station (not old gas station) is the place I've had best luck with. It seems like they're a little slow to react, so you can easily run past them and get behind them in close quarters. (From what I've observed.) It's not much, I hope it helps, (take it with a grain of salt, I'm pretty new so what I said might have beeen wrong)

Easy way to get scav kills on customs
Bring mosin- search for sniper scavs- there can be at most 4 on Customs
They stand still in a predetermined location waiting to get shot by your mosin @cyan steeple

The Ak74U has the most recoil of any of the AKs in the game regardless of how much you mod it @cloud rover

@languid flare Trust me when I say I have done around 2400 damage to sanitar with magnum buckshot and he heals nonstop with ETG stims and all kinds of shit so it can easily take more than that
And @woeful knoll has a clip of him and I in resort and Maydie dropped around 40+ igolnik into him and---its quite the clip if you have it maydie

The most noob friendly rifle is the ADAR2-15. Get one. Use it. You should use it until about level 15 at which point you can swap it for the M4 or the 416.

@limber sorrel You watched Pestily's new map guides? I wouldn't recommend the ADAR to heavily just because of the ammo selection early. The 855 is pretty bad. SKS with PS is better but the reload time can be rough
