Reshala can spawn at New Gas Station, Dorms, sometimes he can spawn by the big tower up by new gas, sometimes he can wander off to military checkpoint, and the new construction building.

If you are on an HDD you will get late spawns every time. After that you need to know the spawns so you know where to face. A lot of people rush the spawns near them

Scavs are great for getting a simple kit together.

Yeah solo is a painful beast. The LFG chat here is pretty good. If you pop in your region, level and map you want there is a fair chance to get a group even as a noob. Or pop into one of the voice channels and ask if they mind you tagging along

after lvl 10 i use mdr, mostly because i like it. hunter is probably more cost effective (you unlock m80 from pk at lvl 10, probably the best ammo for the price at that level)

the sks with 10x 762-PS in the pocket and 60 more in the secure container will be your best friend, but does require getting used to iron sights.

if you can get a steady income of AK-type weapons (AKM, AK-74) you can swap out their gas tube for the Ultimak gas tube from Skier 1, which allows you to put the Burris Fastfire sight from Peacekeeper 1. You may need to also get the Burris Fastfire Base, also from Peacekeeper 1. Make sure you get the right caliber ammo though.
