also dehydration for 5 minutes is very easy, just down a bottle of mayo at the start of your raid and then pop a propital, it'll heal you through the dehydration and the painkiller effect will remove the dehydration tremors

then once you have the quest finished drink some water and continue on with life

I like the hideout stuff, it's why i wanted the car battery but i realised I'm not raiding because it's fun, I'm doing it simply as a means to an end. Made me realise perhaps i need to put it down.

Well. This game definitely has a very high learning curve. So high, it's practically a vertical wall.

That being said, when you do find your footing, this is the most rewarding game I've ever played. Having a good raid and extracting with all the loot is an amazing high. The start is complicated. I don't recommend interchange at the start myself, it's too crowded and closed up. It's very easy to hear, especially with better headphones and a higher perception skill (practically everyone else's will be superior to yours). I'd focus on playing customs slowly - stay clear of Dorms, especially early game.

Don't set your goals too high at the start either. Why don't you start with going in and managing to get out?

Kill a scav or two if the chance arises, build up some map confidence.

if you really want a auto option, keep cycling through your scav runs, and sell the shotguns and stuff

Scav runs can give you some really good ammo and guns for starting out

submachine guns, i wouldn't dabble in until you have access to AP6.3, and that's through flea at first

not really ammo, but sometimes they can give you 762x39 BP

yeah, right at start of wipe I really like using 7.62x39 PS with any guns that shoot the caliber, since its somewhat decent unlike the 5.45x39 PS
