I dont know when you started playing so its kinda hard to talk to you but a while ago shotguns were totally useless, they got seriously buffed over several patches.

AP 20 shells with any shotgun is now a viable thing.

I cant say id recommend it cuz most people think its gamey, but I think shotguns are cool on the only map I play on, Interchange.

im under the impression that the reason those guns can't be used is because they were recently released into the game and the quest hasn't been updated

which would also explain why the RC2 can't be used either since that's also new

well, some of those guns are recent i think. ik the SR-25 and MP9 came in around christmas, idk about the RSASS and PB, and the DVL's "suppressor" is not actually a suppressor, just a suppressed barrel, so it makes sense the game wouldn't recognize it

but if that was the case then it wouldn't work with the T-5000 either, unless nobody's just tried it yet
