There are reasons to convert dollars to roubles. For buying different weapon parts for quests also buying ammo from different dealers. There are plenty of reasons to buy dollars if you say there arent then you are new as well and shouldnt be giving out advice to other new players

Nero your friends are talking about ratting i dont see a problem with it on reserve some people do. Reserve scav alot of the time can be very easy if you dont rush every shot and just look for loot however interchange as well has a ton of loot and can make a lot of money without fighting

it's good to learn a few things in a few raids with people

but overall you're going to die more often with other people in your group

cause they might want to stay and fight and you might want to retreat, and during the confusion you'll die

IF that is what you are referring to, sometimes there is a 15sec - 1 minute desync that you can still get out

but typically that extract timer is pretty accurate.

Rule of thumb is, is if you spawn on the far left of the map, your easiest extractions will be the far right of the map

what should I be doing to be able to win fights as a lower level player? I just magdumped into a dude in woods I ran into and he very slowly turned around and killed me as I reloaded. I was shooting at his legs bc he was wearing armor, and the combat report thing even told me that I hit 16 out of 30 total shots fired but still didn't kill him

it kinda feels like unless I actively avoid combat (which really kinda sucks) I can't progress

to do well on PMC you have to be experienced, not just accuracy but map knowledge and positioning and gun mechanics and all sorts of stuff that you will improve over time

if your a solo then you have to pick them off one by one

its not easy and a lot can go wrong

going solo is never a good idea and you put yourself at a disadvantage

thats why i always try to have at least 1 other person because you gain so much control over the situation

The learning curve is going to be a rough one though. I suggest scaving on cooldown and learning 1-2 maps to start out.

plus if you find bp ammo in a cache or ammo box, put that in your secure, top load some mags, if you're running an sks, you have to have that in your pocket/vest to reload, lost all of it if you die

If you find an AVS plate carrier, its also a great way to extend storage in your stash. It takes up 12 slots but gives you 23 slots including 2 2x2's
