if its your first wipe that is probably true, experience will help a ton. gear is semi important but experience is better, it is fairly late into the wipe so there is a lot of high level people with good gear. so if you don't know how to fight them its just harder
there should be a wipe before the end of the year, those are always great to start off even with everyone else (gear wise at least)

Anything a PMC brings in is not found in raid ex you loot a toolkit off someone doing farming part 1. If they brought it in > not found in raid if they just found it this raid in a toolbox and you leave with it > FIR

@naive lion about the non FIR weapon, if you got it from that raid and you extracted with "survived" status then I believe only 2 reasons for weapon not showing up as FIR are 1. a PMC droped it, maybe for insurance 2. if it has annything not FIR on it, such as a non FIR foregrip or sight and I believe even non FIR bullets, the whole weapon will show up as non FIR untill you take out the non FIR part
