Green smoke will mean it is open. Also I have heard that if smugglers boat is open then old gas will not be open and if old gas open then smuggler wont be. I dont know if this is true 100% of the time but it always has been for me

lately they have been 8ish months. next one will be by the end of the year probably. something like 2-4 months or so, but nobody really knows. what happens is everyone gets their account reset. what you get when you first open the game is what you have. it evens the playing field a lot in regards to gear

I started a offline game in Customs and walked the whole easten and most of the southern side trying extracation points and there was none open/working

the easier extracts are ones that can be closed usually

couple 3 months ago they added the power feature to interchange and made it so you need to turn the power on at power station to open Kiba. At that time the key for Kiba cost like,prolly about 550k at most and i seriously thought it was overpriced. Now its back to a mil and.....im wondering. Havent played the game much this wipe since ive been at bootcamp but now im at a school. Have they made Kiba more worthwhile since the nerf?

that I can't anwser, I was never big on Kiba as a solo runner, and with the alarm delaying opening it, it has people camp it with some regularity

plus farming killa himself is valuable given his armor and helm, and he spawns right next door

This allows you to open the door to kiba with no alarms and close them behind you; hopefully you can escape quietly; with a team you can time having safe room opened and all can be done quite silently and quickly for good money but you will run into people

nah its the same shit as the kiba key. Power station is like the third most dangerous spot on the map. Unless you spawn right outside of power station, its way too difficult to use the ultra key.

I personally quite like woods, but that's just because it's very predictable as to where you find other PMC's and it's very easy to hit some nice shots if you are patient.

Lots of people don't like woods for that reason but if you play into the smarter hand you can get out with some pretty nifty gear

i literally cant pmc on anymap at any time. every other player has better stuff than me and whenever i see anybody, by the time my sights are up im already dead. i cant even level up to get access to flea because Ive survived 3 pmc raids. any advice?

Go slow, find a path you can extract on.

I use customs and go barely north of the main road and well south of dorms, loot some stashes maybe a scav kill or two then extract

Dont sprint everywhere and let all the other PMCs know where you are, thats the biggest mistake new players make

yeah when im trying to just extract ill go along the very north wall on the map but im also trying to get the bronze watch for prapor and every time i get into construction i die immediately

The north wall is more likely to run into PMCs

And the prapor watch can be kind of tough but just take yuor time and go slow

There's multiple routes you can take and a number of deviations possible if things look or sound dicey. Don't be afraid to explore alternatives so if fighting is ahead you can avoid it to get your quest done.
