Prolly a lot of them are leveled up in assault rifles.

they are also planning on this feature called karma where basically as a scav if you team kill other scavs you will get worse stuff on your next scav run, pistols, bad weapons, etc

if i may ask @celest condor , whats the value of an AKS to a regular AK? Only thing afaik is the slightly better ergo and the smaller profile (so your gun doesnt stick out as much reducing your chances of getting spotted), so whats the value other than that if i may ask?
@proven citrus Just fun and aesthetics. I have been playing a long time. I went through learning on an SKS. THen learned to handle full auto and played meta guns. They got boring so I am now to the point of using what I feel like, mostly. Last wipe I liked the baby AKs, just because. I liked how they looked and enjoyed using them. This wipe I am not liking the 545 or 556 guns so I am using a lot of the 762x39 AKs. And of course I mix in shotguns and other guns as I feel like it.

@plucky merlin Why do you feel like that? Think of it more as a non descript pile of nuts and bolts. Think of it as a pile large enough you no longer think they should stack and you will be happy. Description does not state how many nuts or bolts are in a single item.

Technically that's what's happening at the moment, if I remember from the streams right. BE and BSG are watching over recordings and doing manual bans 50/50 and the other 50/50 is BE getting hacks code banned and then mass banning

You can enjoy Tarkov casually, you just need to play it your way. Me and a friend have managed casually for two months now since just starting new, I feel a lot of people that can't play it often try to play the game like they see their Fav Twitch streamers play. ANd that leads to a lot of frustrations.
It's possible they weren't camping so much as also extracting, had it happen a few times near match end. Everyone rushes to the extract, he got their first or was behind you, then saw you and took aim.
As for being broke, pace yourself. Ammo is more important than the weapon a lot of the time. Scav run often, either in the rear of Interchange or Reserve. Reserve is great for both Ammo and Attachments for your weapons. Failing that, Scav run Customs and just loot everything including tapping scavs in the middle of no where.
Night runs on Interchange are perfectly find, NVGs are basically useless on there due to the lights always being on both inside adn around the map.

@shut pelican no, vehicle exits are a one time use. It is possible, I am not sure, that exit turns red when timer begins which gives you 1 minute to get to exit.
I am not sure if exit turns red at start or end of timer. My guess is at start though.

a lot of ammo is actually trash to use, and you should avoid them, such most (if not all) of the 9x18 ammo, and any 9x18 ammo except for pstgzh and higher
most misc gun parts aren't worth keeping either, or swap them out with stuff you already have on the guns you have if they give better stats, and vendor the lesser parts
respirator is a part of a killing-quest-in-cosplay, but i don't fancy keeping those around tbh

Its due to two things. One the reparability of the face shield is really bad, the other since the rate that the face shield repairs is terrible then there needs to be a wider gap on the max durability of the item (40) to the current durability (34.21).

Regardless, customs is suggested to new players as it has a lot of the early quests. To get your feet wet and a handle on crunching scavs and some pvp, shoreline (avoiding resort) and woods a are good maps for beginners.

Go offline and select no scavs. Go check out weather station, pier and cottages. Then check out resort (most the good loot is behind key doors). You can make decent cash hitting the spots that aren't resort and they aren't toooo contested
