best way for factory tasks is to get a 5 man. Factory has a 5 man limit now so you own the whoel raid. Just your team vs scavs

intentional TK for your team mates gear normally is an instant thing in my experience.

as in you get killed as soon as you spawn. Pretty rampant if you join a random in the game lobby.

@ocean fable Which is why I said normally 🙂 TK for gear found in raid is another, related issue. Also Tks because of lack of communication, or lapse of paying attention. I have also TKd while just screwing around. Typically with my son thinking it is funny to shoot him, so I shoot him back with a much bigger bullet.

yeah I hear you I have done the same but that is with friends. And while an accidental teamkill can always happen killing your teammate you grouped with intentionally on a public discord servers with rules of conduct that prohibit that very behaviour is just a lack of self control and a sign of being a weak minded and small individual even if you he called you a son of whore. Just leave him behind, exit the raid and dont play with said person again. Grieving people in video games because of a difference of opinion is one of the more toxic traits of some humans

I would do vog-25 because its just a bomb and will kill them if they are near it. But honestly, both work. The VOG -17 is easier to get, though you can craft the VOG 25-s in the workbench

Its about 20k for the gun and 2k per mag; but it has 1000rpm compared to its cousin the Kedr with 900rpm

TheRapist will pay the most for anything she will buy which is like random jank. Mechanic gives most for guns... however, if you want trades with prapor or peacekeeper or w/e to put toward progress leveling those merchants. Then you may not want to always sell to mechanic

Most guns are fine in this game. Ammo matters, but your aim matters more in most cases. I can take a PM like you start with and kill a dude that is decked out with a well placed headshot

Here is a true story. Was helping a new guy a couple months ago. He ran into a geared player that was trying to camp him out. He shot the guy in the face with a 9x19 pistol a few times. Dude could not aim for crap after that and he ended up being able to get away.

IMO helmet is waste of time. if you find one, put it on but other than that... don't waste the money.

For armor... you will only be saved from buckshot with class 2 armor that will be available to you right now and 30k for it is a scam

#

The problem is, if you go in without body armor and a gun you will get tagged and cursed which means AI get a hard on for you and will detect you easier and be very aggressive, which can make them hard to deal with.

You have two "characters" to choose from. Scav and PMC.

PMC = The person you can equip and level in your stash. Scav will shoot on sight

Scav = Random gear and other scavs wont shoot unless you shoot them

@sacred vapor How much of that are you willing to spend on a kit? I'd suggest just grabbing some class 3 armour and an AKM with PS ammo or something. Mod it out a little for recoil reduction etc but that should set you back 100k-150k, incl backpack and rig.

well then, if you wanted to move the game to your SSD, I think u had to move out only the game folder, leaving the launcher files/folder in original place, so you could open the launcher and reroute the game folder

dont need to have the launcher itself on an SSD to improve loading times, just the game itself

One thing you should know straight from the start is that paca armor at this point doesn't stop anything, so you save money not buying it, and bullets determine the armor penetration and damage and not the gun.

I'd say a good beginner area would be Interchange or Shoreline.

And that's only the shooting part of it. Then you have all the inventory aspect of the game, looting and gearing. I like to think about Tarkov as a mix between ARMA and Diablo.

There's a #pvp-lfg channel here where you can hook up with people. Eventually you find your friends with whom you'll be hanging around on a regular basis. Just keep in mind that the game can be very hard and confusing on it's own, and having to constantly track your teammates may be taxing so I would rather stick with a smaller groups (duos/trios) until everyone knows the map and the callouts.
