only advice I have is mpx/mp5 pistol rounds drop Short of minimum spawn distance... just under 100 range... got me killed couple times... the 700 is fine a sniper... Bolt action is biggest draw back for me... needs m61 for headshots on good helms though. SNB is so common though... flies tiny bit further. so tend to snipe with it.

back to mpx/700 combo. mpx is a tad bit on shorter range and goin off scope 700 will be hard long to maybe cqc hip fire.... your mid range will be difficult... even with a bravo scope. I would bring one or the other... ditch insured gun if I can if caught out numbered or out gunned.

My biggest issue with ak is the fire rate. So many raids with drum mags with good bullets and either rapid fire or lucky head shots end me faster. while I'm still ratatata through my first rounds on sudden encounters. Like a good rpm or strong enough bullet to three tap

Even when I try to play safe I get fucked. If I even get shot at I run away because I can't kill anything with the garbage ammo I can get. But still get one or 2 shotted with armor. Game seems impossible some times, like no matter how much time I spend playing I'll never be good enough.

Depends on what armour he was wearing etc. If he had a face shield, it's possible the bullet was stopped.
If he had a helmet, the round can ricochet.
Head shots are generally not the way to go unless you have a high-pen round like 7.62x54r

Get into Raid, recognise how loud certain sounds are, start to distinguish different gun sounds, hear footsteps and get the drop on someone, put them down first, get gear, find more people, kill one or two, killed by the third.

Sometimes you'll get out with loads of loot, sometimes you'll get out with almost nothing, often you'll die.
Stick with it. Learn the maps, learn the weapons and ammo.
Try Interchange, for example.
Some of the high traffic areas in the middle of the mall are a bit nuts, but going to somewhere like IDEA or Oli can get you decent loot and you might only encounter a player or two, at most.

@bold kernel Each caliber has a variety of ammo types; some are better at penetration, some are better at dealing damage to flesh. If you're using 9mm, the '6.3 AP' is best for penetration, but won't go very far. 'RIP' ammo on the other hand does massive flesh damage, so you can shoot people in the arms/legs no matter how much armour they have.

Mango, hit the spawn next to you and then hide, not all scavs spawn at the start
for example if you spawn near the traintracks where all the jaeger stashes are you can check the roadblock thingy for scavs kill them and then go back in hide in one of the bushes for 15-20 minutes
when you emerge most players will have left, there will usually be a bunch of player scavs instead and most of the scavs will have respawned by then

@dusky shell profitable crafts in the workbench, Green Gunpowder (if you can buy m67 from peacekeeper), BP Bullets and Igolnik bullets. Intelligence center you will get most profit from either crafting graphics cards or Folder with Intelligence. Producing superwater and Lucky Scav Moonshine can be profitable too. I recommend you make your sugar yourself using alyonka its cheaper
also the blue lab stims can be profitable depending on how much they go for atm and on the current prices of the mats
You can run your generator for free using expeditionary fuel tanks 24/7
basically what you do is buy at least 2 of them, once they are empty you can use them along with some other mats to craft a magbox in your lavatory. allowing you to sell it and make all money back from spending on the fuel
it doesnt make much profit itself but allows you to run your generator 24/7 with no losses and even slight profit

A: Your arm with a fracture, popping a painkiller, waiting 40 sec (even after joining a new raid) and then going for headshots
or
B: get dehydrated, pop a Propital (probably a few over the course of the quest) and then do headshots
Both Fractures and Dehydration cause Tremor
Alternatively, pop some drugs or alcohol, but that is a short duration with long delay, so... not so effective, imo

Arguably, Shoreline has the most spawns for very rare/expensive items, but the majority of these spawns are behind locked doors.
Interchange is a good map for making some cash. Much lower risk, too.

There are a couple flags involved to keep ai scav friendly. usually you have to be hit first. and second I imagine there is a certain range or zone you have to be inside of to trigger the ai hostility.

quite the opposite, you can vendor all loot however you can only sell things with the found in raid checkmark in the fleamarket. meaning in needs to have spawned in the very raid you enter. If a pmc brings gear into a raid and you kill him that gear will not be found in raid since he brought it in himself

its supposed to prevent resellers, people buying things from the flea market and reselling them for a higher price causing most good items to be out of stock with the vendors most of the time... but luckily thats in the past

I also believe the memory is currently a place holder as it doesnt do anything as of right now your skills dont go down.

if it doesnt lose even 0.1 on, say, lvl 17 perception which is out of 100 points at this rate, then even IF it exists, it wouldnt matter, I'll probably test it with game running off for 8 hours of sleep and 8 hours on, with 8 hours of sleep

those are the biggest down sides for runthrough. and it is easily avoidable. Just wait for 10 mins once you are in and you wont get one. I understand that newer players get like a graphics card or intel and lose their mind but just relax and take it slow and just try to survive and you will get out with that pay day.

I got it first try faded, just play it slow, or if you get the spawn next to the drop off you can run if you want
