the sniper version of the mosin takes the PU scope, but you have the have the mounts for it

other wise you can use the trirail by removing the rear sight if you find one

the tri rail lets you put what ever on it

but the PU is pretty good. Just zero for 150m with LPS ammo and aim for the upper chest. that will net you a lot of kills without having to learn to much range estimation

the idea is to get you on the biggest target possible as fast as possible

If they are 150 and close, you willl hit upper chest/face for an insta kill on reaction targets.

if they are out to like 200 or a bit further you can still have a chance to one tap since the drop isn't into the stomach area yet

BTC farm should be ready by tomorrow.

Since it requires fuel in the gen to keep running, what would you guys consider is the necessary base amount of GPU's required to turn a good profit? I'm good on money so I should be able to fill up a lvl1 BTC farm if I can buy GPU's for 500k on the flea

@rain bough try all the available ironsights in the shooting range or offline Vs scavs and see if it works for you

#

Personally I like the front sight with that yellow button on it, it helps you see the barrel of your gun in low light conditions. An optic is still better of course, but I tend to use this when I go for a super budget build (usually a 7.62 VPO or SKS without any upgrades except a cheap muzzle) and have had some reasonable success with it. Just don't pick any fights at distances over 40 meters or so.

I'll have to look at those too. I think the irons are actually pretty okay, you won't be doing anything long distance but at least you know the zero is pretty good. I wish the irons were zeroed to 400 like they are IRL, though. I think my experience in the beginning was skewed by me just being bad lmao

lol i find the scav junkbox the most useful cause you can store alot of your hideout and quest turn-in items in it. the small ammo case only holds like 12 stacks of ammo

People say footsteps arnt as loud with binaural audio
Without binarual sound, the direction of the footsteps is harder to determine but you hear the steps earlier (louder)-- if that makes sense

the first, top left backpack is also very bad, I personally wouldnt keep it if you needed space over a random backpack u wanted to bring into raid, it takes up more space than it gives

If you like sitting around with a sniper just camp up in the lighthouse with a scoped weapon. You can catch people every raid going to cross the bridge at the gas station. For fun you can take 660m pot shots at the scavs on the island, or try your luck with 850m shots to tunnel extract.

If you friend each other, you will see each other in lobby without having to look for group though.

It is kind of random where they will spawn and how many do spawn. I have had customs raid with 0 scavs and ive had others where I got attacked by like 15 at construction trailors

I'm about the same and apart from guns I've found in raid. I usually ran SKS off merchants... market open I started to run Vepr Hunter since I had m80's unlocked.

@bleak zealot Reserve takes some practice but it can be very profitable. I tend to favour interchange for new players filling their stash with gear.

internal mags you can get early on from skier I think and same with the ammo for the gun

once you hit level 10 you can buy the mags from flea market. Sometimes you can find them though.

Because I am a D.A. and gave you bad info. The internal mag and ammo is from Prapor.

But you don't change mags when an internal magazine so you only need the one installed in the gun

@worthy cliff Dont stress if you feel you are missing shots; the more you play the tighter your recoil pattern is
Left side is brand new player level 1 full auto spray
Right side is veteren player with maxed out 'Recoil Control' skill full auto spray pattern
