the death corridor is the area between Kiba and Adick
Kiba isn't what it used to be. But you can basically bank on Killa being there 80% of the time, and when he's not, someone is camping the Kiba door from the second floor.
I thought i had killa on really low health given it was the end of the raid basically and so, I took the bait into the death corridor. It did not pan out.

I think it was a raider just now I met infront of the helicopter on Reserve. He had an mp5k. I put 8 shotgun shells directly into his head and he didnt die. Sf shells.

It doesn't help that there's no real understanding of the zeroing system between higher velocity rounds unless you go science it up offline before every raid and memorize the numbers and ranges, as it's vastly unintuitive, so I could use "Better" rounds in some guns, but due to any velocity change, they could be way off mark.
I took LPS because I know that the Mosin is at least zeroed in for that round specifically, as it's the standard.
However I was unaware it's got the stopping power of a high-speed marshmallow.

Nah, I'm offline. This would be my first week of Tarkov. I don't get kills unless they're in the open or the scav/pmc is unaware. This would be Day7 of my experience in Takrov. However many days it's been since wipe. Needing the experience in skav spanws, landing shots, and overall map knowledge, so going offline to check all these boxes.
It's really just that the iron sight on the mosin is tiny and unwieldy, but it's such a strong gun I figured I'd go offline and test my luck on some chest shots. That turned out poorly, so I turned out here. I'll try to focus more on where my shots are landing.

another option youll have of course is the SKS, but the SKS is going to have the same issue youre having now with the 74U, you don't get armor penetrating bullets at level 1 trader.
if you scroll way up, like about 11 hours ago I shot a scav 9 times in the chest with the SKS with PS rounds and he didnt die.
compounding the issue with the SKS is its semi auto only.

you can build lazer guns in this game. Dont know what the value is off the top of my head, but im willing to bet the 74 youre talking about has a base recoil value of over 80.
you can build an M4 with 32 vertical recoil.

I know the nerves situation. Players are patient. This happened to me 3 times today and im still mad. got into a gunfight, hit my enemy pretty bad, he dings me some too. I know we are both on the brink of death, I decide to reload. If he pushes me before I can chamber the round for the new mag, I die 99.99999% of the time, and honestly I prolly need about 2 seconds after chambering the next mag to feel confident.
You can drop back in cover, but don't do anything obvious until youre 100% the threat is neutralized.
I know that sounds like some rookie shit, and it is, but ive been trying to PVP a lot more.

I love the combat mechanics and looting of this game but it’s just too hard, for beginners, they get scared to loose their gear so they go in with shiti gear, they go in with shiti gear they die, plus add that on top of how angle and combat techniques work in this game.
